An Experiment into the Benign

Dec 08, 2010 12:13

Life, it put it mildly, has been very sweet. I have a full plate of projects, work continues to be an enjoyment (even among the things i don't enjoy that come with it), and socially it's like MFF is still happening. My stress has been low in most respects and even on downing days something has happened to pick it right back up to make me smile and ( Read more... )

I dunno what to ask... So... Do you have a 5-year plan and when are you going to go back to school?

I do not have a 5 year plan. I don't even have a tomorrow plan as it were. When the company asked me back in May what I wanted to see myself doing in a few years I told them politely I can't even see that far ahead; I just want to be working after being out of work for 4 months ( ... )

A wife, a dog and 2.5 kids in my own cookie cutter house. Moments move too quickly and my mind never slows down to capture them. It's a bad combination unless I'm planning a moment, which have seldom ever worked out for me. I tried planning out your birthday and that went SPECTACULAR as you remember ( ... )

You've been working out recently.. what are your goals?

My largest goal is to be healthy overall. I've joked (sometimes not so much...) that my body would outlast my mind and I'd at least make my body be able to last some of that time.
However for physical image I'm currently gearing toward a power-lifter's build with the workout I'm doing. I know for a while we talked about body sizes and self images. And while I've gone back and forth on the matter to myself between being a slim fit vs a bulky fit (bulky ranging from muscular to fat-muscular), I'm only settled on that fact I'm not interested in being slim.

Plus I have way too many XL shirts that would go to waste if I remained small heh

This is part 1 of a 3 part question, with the middle part first, the first part last, and the last part in the middle.

Explain the origin of Toz the character and what you would choose if not the red panda.

Toz(ier) 1.0 was a character created by the artist Amanda Payne. She had created him as a side character for part of her stories on the site she ran. Toz was a straight, ex-military robust character that was disillusioned from the side he was fighting on and joined the rebel group. The story for him stopped short there (a mixed with a few moments of showing his tender side) as Amanda stopped writing stories for some time ( ... )

This is part 2 of the three part question, which should be first, but somehow ended up before the end.

Do you think you can be happy without a mate/boyfriend/significant robot? How important is being part of a binary, trinary or multiple exclusively monogamous (bigamous? polygamous?), or at least emotionally bonded relationship to you?

Perceivably I'll have a long life ahead of me to find and to be with another(s). That being said, it's possible I'd also have a long time to maybe just wait if not the whole time. I think, right now, I can be Content with not sharing my life with anyone on *key* an emotionally bonbed relationship. I define key as 'this person is not bound to me therefor it is unfair for both parties to be attached beyond this moment.' I do however view and believe that a monogamous is the only suitable relationship for myself. Srsrly, it's hard enough to work toward someone's happiness and maintain and you'd want to try for a second one ( ... )
