“Dr Kim!” Kangin greeted as he and Eeteuk entered the psychologist's office. “You've bought new furniture.”
“There's only one chair,” Eeteuk noticed. “Where does the other one sit?”
“Dr Kim's lap is available,” Kangin said and winked at Dr Kim.
Kibum cleared his throat and pushed his clipboard further down his lap as to indicate how unavailable his lap was.
“There's a seat the guard brought right there next to the chair,” he said and pointed at it. “We don't normally have couples' therapy but since that's what you are and what you specifically requested..” He trailed off uncomfortably, staring at his notes.
“It's very kind of you,” Eeteuk said, sitting down on the chair as Kangin took the fold out chair, pushing it near Eeteuk.
“No problem,” Kibum said. “So, we've had sessions with you separately before so let's talk about you two as ..one. I was quite surprised to hear they allow you to share a cell.”
“We requested it,” Kangin explained. “It was so difficult to be apart and then finally we wrote a letter to the warden.”
“On Valentine's day,” Eeteuk added.
“His heart just melted,” Kangin continued. “A true romantic if there ever was, that Warden Choi. Which was lucky for us as Plan B would've entailed whoring out Teukie's ass for anyone willing to accept it as bribe..”
“Or your ass,” Eeteuk said irritably.
“Oh c'mon,” Kangin said sweetly, moving his hand to pat Eeteuk's knee. “Nobody prefers my ass to yours.”
Kibum shuddered involuntarily. “So, moving on... I was told that you had a specific problem you wished to discuss with me.”
“It's been causing us a lot of stress,” Eeteuk said.
“Even worse, we've stopped having sex because of it,” Kangin said sadly as Eeteuk pushed his hand off the knee.
“Which is ironic considering the problem,” Eeteuk continued. “Basically, I've been... thinking about where our relationship is going.”
“Which is ridiculous, because,” Kangin said and indicated their surroundings, “we're in prison. Where the fuck can this relationship go? It can't take a plane to Tokyo.”
“Anyway,” Eeteuk said, glaring at Kangin, “I've come to a certain life important decision, and he's not willing to accept it.”
Kangin merely snorted in response.
Kibum scribbled down on the clip board, words and phrases as notes. “So what is this decision you've made, Eeteuk?”
“I want to have a baby,” Eeteuk said.
Kibum dropped his pencil. Blushing, his eyes searched for it on the floor but as he couldn't find it, he instead got up and got another from his desk. Both Eeteuk and Kangin stared at him during the proceedings and when Kibum finally settled back down on his seat, a new pen in hand, he cleared his throat.
“A baby, you say?” he asked, maintaining - hopefully - a very professional manner.
“Yes,” Eeteuk replied.
“You can't have a baby!” Kangin suddenly exclaimed.
“I can have a baby if I like!”
“You can't have a baby!”
“Let's settle down,” Kibum spoke calmly.
“He's always telling me what I can and cannot do,” Eeteuk said huffily. “You're not the boss of me, Youngwoon, I'm older than you.”
“Exactly,” Kangin said. “Having a baby at your age is a huge risk.”
“Let's just,” Kibum began, again clearing his throat, “not raise our voices anymore and discuss this rationally. Youngwoon, I'm sure Jungsu understands he is biologically incapable of carrying a baby.”
Kangin snorted.
“What was that?” Kibum asked.
“He thinks my desire of parenthood is just hilarious,” Eeteuk said, folding his arms.
“You think everything I do is a joke!” Kangin says accusingly.
“I do not!”
“Dr Kim,” Kangin said, looking pleadingly at Kibum, “he laughs at me in bed.”
“You make funny faces!”
“You know what it does to my self-esteem when you do that?”
Kibum simply stared at the two, open-mouthed. “I, uhh, would rather if we did not discuss your ..bedroom life during these sessions.”
“Donghae told us you totally have a degree in sexology,” Eeteuk said and beside him, Kangin nodded.
“I, er, I can assure you that is, uh, not one of my qua-qualifications,” Kibum stuttered, feeling the heat on his cheeks.
“Maybe he was just saying he thinks Dr Kim is hot,” Kangin told Eeteuk.
“Yeah, maybe that was it,” Eeteuk said.
Kibum looked at the two, now agreeing and even smirking at one another. Of course, he thought. He was getting played, pranked. Kibum cursed at himself, he really should've known earlier. But if they wanted to play, he could play along. He looked down at the clipboard once again.
“Well, we can discuss the options now. I know some very willing surrogate mothers who've done this type of thing for inmates before,” he said and began writing down fake notes.
“What?” Eeteuk asked, looking surprised.
“I mean, technically you do not need to have your partner's agreement so we can just exclude Youngwoon-sshi and get you a baby.” Kibum smiled brightly. “Now how does that sound?”
He was good at this. He should've become an actor.
“I, uhh,” Eeteuk said, smiling awkwardly, “don't really understand.”
“I've got your details here, doesn't look too bad, 25 years of age, good-looking young man like yourself .. Parenthood isn't that long away!”
“Wait, we're not, I mean--” Kangin began, but Kibum interrupted him.
“Personally I think it's wonderful. I hope you do reconsider your involvement, Youngwoon-sshi. Babies are great!” Kibum looked at his wrist watch. “Unfortunately I have to meet the warden now. But let's discuss this further before the weekend, shall we? I'll contact some people, get the ball rolling.”
He ushered the two out of his office before they could voice any further protests and clicked the door shut. Another problem solved.
**
“Thanks for that idea, umma,” Kangin spat at Eeteuk as they were escorted back to their cell.
“It would've gone fine if you hadn't started improvising the bed and sexology crap,” Eeteuk said under his breath.
“The sexology thing was you, I wouldn't bring up Donghae in Dr Kim's office because I'm not stupid.”
“Oh that you definitely are,” Eeteuk said with a grin. “I hope our baby gets my intelligence.”
“Dr Kim said he's getting you a baby,” Kangin said. “I'm not involved in this.”
“You break my heart,” Eeteuk said, still smiling. “We'd be such good parents.”
“Good excuse for missing all those school plays, this whole being in prison thing,” Kangin noted sarcastically.
Eeteuk snorted.
“But no, we would be,” Kangin agreed. “I'm already thinking of names. If it's a boy, how about Hongki? If it's a girl, Hana.”
“Hongki has a nice ring to it,” Eeteuk said. “Not sure about Hana, though.”
“We have over nine months to decide.”
When they got back to their cell, Eeteuk settled next to Kangin on the bunk.
“We're not seriously getting a baby,” Eeteuk said. “Right?”
“We're not,” Kangin replied. “Now's not the time.”
Eeteuk placed his head against Kangin's shoulder. “This was a stupid prank. Next time we get bored, let's just read books.”
“Or you know what else we could do,” Kangin began but Eeteuk pinched his side. “Ow!”
“I'm not that bored,” Eeteuk said. “And Han Geng is like, right there.”
“I am that bored,” Kangin said. “And maybe Officer Han likes to watch.”
“You know what he also likes to do?” Eeteuk asked. “Put prisoners in solitary for public displays of affection.”
“If he tries that, we should tell about that time we saw him and warden...”
“Who should we tell, the warden?”
“We could drink tea and swap stories with them,” Kangin said with a smile on his face. “Top ten places in this prison to have sex at.”
“I think Donghae already wrote that list,” Eeteuk said.
“But he hasn't tested them.”
“Not yet, anyway.”
“That Dr Kim, he gives such a virgin vibe, don't you think?”
“Virgin?” Eeteuk snorted. “Putting it mildly, I'd say. He gets so flustered when I mention dick I wonder if he knows he has one himself.”
“Maybe you should show it to him, next time,” Kangin said mischievously.
“Mine? Or his own?” Eeteuk smiled. “You're pretty sick sometimes, you know that?”
“Yeah,” Kangin admitted. “I'm glad no kid has to have a father like me.”
“At least not yet,” Eeteuk just said.
“At least not yet,” Kangin repeated.
**
“Kyuhyun-sshi!” Sungmin said happily, catching up to his cell mate's steps in the cafeteria. “Finally I see you. It feels like, well, like you've been avoiding me.”
Kyuhyun didn't look at him in the eye. “Sorry, I had to leave work to go to drugs counselling.”
“But you don't do drugs,” Sungmin said.
“But I was involved in a drug crime,” Kyuhyun said with a shrug. “Apparently it's obligatory.”
“Oh,” Sungmin said, all while knowing it wasn't obligatory at all. “I see.” He put his hand on Kyuhyun's shoulder but the younger boy shrugged it off.
“The guards,” Kyuhyun said apologetically under his breath and Sungmin just frowned. The guards didn't see, and when they did see, they usually didn't care.
They walked to the table in silence, sitting down but not next to each other, as Kyuhyun took a seat next to Shindong. All Sungmin could do was stare at him from the other side of the table.
“Shindong has a serious problem,” Kangin said gravely before cracking up.
“Sure, laugh all you want. It's only my future that's on the line here,” Shindong said irritably.
“What's wrong?” Yesung asked.
“Boa agasshi, she wants to ... wants to ...” Shindong took a deep breath. “Have an affair. With me. In here.”
“In prison?” Kyuhyun asked.
“No, in kindergarten,” Kangin said. “Yes, in prison.”
“I think it's sweet,” Eeteuk said. “She's willing to risk it all, for Donghee.”
“Not that we understand why,” Yesung said, “but I'm sure she has her reasons.”
“Like love,” Ryeowook sighed.
“I say go for it,” Sungmin said.
“Go for what?” they all heard the voice of Kim Heechul ask.
“Shindong is working up the courage to ask you out,” Kangin said with a grin.
“How sweet,” Heechul said. “The answer is no.”
“Oh no,” Shindong said sardonically, “guess I'll have to find some other skinny skank ass to shove my dick in.”
“Well, you don't have to look far,” Heechul said. “Boa's gesturing you to come to the door, right over there.” He pointed at the entrance, where Boa stood next to the guard, waving at them but only looking at Shindong.
“Oh shit,” Shindong said, but stood up.
“Yeah, sucks having a girlfriend with more balls than you,” Heechul said.
They all watched Shindong make his way to the instructor as Donghae arrived at Heechul's side. His eyes lit up at the sight of Kangin and Eeteuk.
“Kangteuk! How was your therapy?”
“It, uhh, backfired on us,” Eeteuk answered, embarrassed.
“Uh huh,” Donghae said, smiling and not really listening. “What was Dr Kim wearing?”
“Stalker much?” Kangin asked, looking weirded out.
“Was it the black shirt?” Donghae asked, oblivious to everybody staring at him. “Suit? Red tie? Dark green?”
“Let's go, Pinocchio,” Heechul said, pulling Donghae into his direction. “Sorry everybody, he's been like this for a while now.”
“No kidding,” Sungmin said, looking worried. “Kyuhyun-sshi, are you finished eating?”
“No,” Kyuhyun said, “but you can go without me.”
“It's okay, I'll wait,” Sungmin replied.
“No, you should go,” Kyuhyun said.
Sungmin got up with a sigh and left, passing Hyukjae's table as he went.
“Sungmin-ah,” Hyukjae called, looking up from his dinner, “what's up?”
“Nothing,” Sungmin said, faking a smile. “Everything's peachy.”
He walked to the library, grinding his teeth as he went. Something was wrong with Kyuhyun, something was very wrong with Kyuhyun and he just hoped he could fix it. Stupid newbie was driving him insane. Stupid newbie, stupid, stupid him for caring so much for stupid, stupid newbie.

“What do you have there?” Siwon asked when Han Geng entered his office with a paper bag at hand.
“Confiscated something,” Han Geng replied seriously, but smiled immediately after. “You left it at my place. A tooth brush.”
“Oh,” Siwon said. “I, um, left it on purpose. It's a spare.”
“Oh,” Han Geng said, slightly embarrassed. “I'll take it back, then.”
“I mean, if it's okay with you,” Siwon said awkwardly.
“Sure, it's fine,” Han Geng replied, smiling slightly. “Just .. let me know next time?”
“I will,” Siwon said, smiling a bit himself now.
“How's it going with the transfers?” Han Geng asked.
“It's a pain as usual, so far I've only confirmed one of them. Inmate by the name of Henry Lau,” Siwon said, pushing the file to Han Geng over the table. “Apparently plays the violin.”
“Apparently got caught selling a fake Stradivari,” Han Geng said, reading the file. “Cute.”
“Regardless, he seems harmless enough to fit right in, so he's coming here in two weeks.”
“Any others?” Han Geng asked.
“Can't make my mind up about these FT Island transfers,” Siwon said tiredly, patting a stack of files on his right.
“They seem young,” Han Geng noted after flipping through the files.
“Yeah, well, the problem remains is that we have no room for them,” Siwon replied.
“You're doing your best,” Han Geng said.
Siwon stood up, rubbing his eyes. “Thanks.”
“Should've slept more last night,” Han Geng said, amused.
“Guess whose fault that was,” Siwon said, grinning a little.
“I'll go, let you take a nap or something,” Han Geng said and gestured towards the door, but Siwon's hand had already grabbed him by the shoulder and was pulling him at the back of his neck, closer.
Their lips met, Han Geng still sort of struggling against Siwon's hold, but the kiss continued and he relented, tilting his head and opening Siwon's lips with his --
The phone rang and Siwon pulled away, cursing out loud words Han Geng hadn't yet learned in Korean.
“What is it?” Siwon asked irritably into the receiver as blush was working its way up his collar.
Han Geng pulled away and again gestured the door.
Siwon put down the receiver. “Parole board head is here to see me, I'm sorry.”
“That guy's a wolf,” Han Geng said, cringing, and then shrugged. “We both have work to do. See you tonight?”
“Yeah,” Siwon said, settling back in his chair. “Take the tooth brush.”
“Good luck with the transfers,” Han Geng said.
The door closed after him and Siwon braced himself. Meeting the parole board members was nothing short of spending the night in S1J3, if not indeed worse. Or having to interact with ... and just then, he got an idea. A bad idea, he was sure, but it was among the best ideas he'd had all week, so quickly he scribbled it down before the parole board head entered his office.

Sungmin made it back to the cell just in time for lockdown. He stared at the sight of Kyuhyun on the upper bunk, reading a book, not even noticing Sungmin entering their cell.
“Hey,” Sungmin said.
No response.
“I need to talk to you,” Sungmin said tiredly. “Kyuhyun-sshi. Please.”
Kyuhyun finally put the book down, sitting up awkwardly. “Um, what is it?”
“Can you come down here?” Sungmin asked.
“Do I have to?”
“No but I'd just - just. Please do.”
Kyuhyun climbed down and soon stood in front of Sungmin, hands pocketed, not looking at Sungmin in the eye.
This was ridiculous, Sungmin thought. He felt a need to apologize for whatever he had done that had made Kyuhyun this strangely upset with him, the avoiding, the ignoring, the constant silence between them for the past couple of days. He knew things would be weird after sharing the bed - though not like that - but this level weirdness he hadn't known to expect. Had Sungmin broken his trust in some way? How had this kid been wronged? Sungmin looked at him, just stared at the features of the taller boy and wondered.
He wanted to be Kyuhyun's, well, he wanted to be a lot of things but he wouldn't be any of them if Kyuhyun didn't want him to be. Sungmin liked him, liked him a lot, like him so much his worst fear wasn't not getting to kiss Kyuhyun or fuck him or even just touch him, his worst fear was not to have Kyuhyun at all, as a friend or whatever other bond was possible between them.
“I'm sorry,” Sungmin finally said.
“For what?” Kyuhyun asked, looking up and then hastily looking down as his eyes briefly met with Sungmin's.
“For whatever it is that I've done that's made you so friggin' upset with me,” Sungmin said.
“It's not that,” Kyuhyun said, taking a step back. “It's nothing you did, it's just, just me. Don't worry about it.”
“How can I not worry when you won't even talk to me?” Sungmin asked, raising his voice just the slightest. “Geez.”
“I'm sorry,” Kyuhyun said and Sungmin could just - could just - strangle Kyuhyun or - or...
He glanced around at the other cells, the guards gathered around Heechul and Donghae's, Han Geng standing with his arms folded, explaining calmly, “We're not letting you keep any more psychology magazines, Lee Donghae, as Kim Heechul here kindly informed us you treat them in a very questionable manner.”
Sungmin turned to Kyuhyun again, who was staring at him, and then quickly lowered his gaze again and Sungmin knew this could make everything ten times worse or finally solve everything and he was so willing to take the risk, so willing to just --
His lips pushed against Kyuhyun's, kissing desperately and Kyuhyun gasped in surprise, opening his mouth slightly as Sungmin deepened the kiss. Kyuhyun didn't struggle against it but took a step back, and Sungmin took a step forward and held onto Kyuhyun's hips as Kyuhyun's hands also settled on Sungmin's sides.
Suddenly there was a loud noise and they broke apart. Near their cell door, Office Han Geng was smiling.
“No, by all means, do carry on. Sorry to have interrupted you so rudely, romance is rarely found nowadays,” he said sarcastically. “Anyway, the guards in solitary confinement do love to see some new faces, but if you don't wish to go say hello, keep an arm's length, won't you two?”
“Thank you, Officer,” Sungmin said gloomily and stepped away from Kyuhyun. “You're always looking out for our best interests.”
“You're welcome,” the guard said.
Kyuhyun was blushing. “I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner.”
“It's okay,” Sungmin said, just slightly out of breath.
“It's not every day you realize you're gay,” Kyuhyun added.
“I can understand,” Sungmin said, smiling a little.
“I didn't mean to behave like an ass, I just wanted distance, to figure it out.”
“And now?”
Kyuhyun sat down on the lower bunk. “I don't think I need the distance any more.”
“That's good,” Sungmin said, and he knew Kyuhyun probably hadn't meant to make it sound so ..suggestive but Sungmin's brain was quick to add that tone to it, and his imagination was also quick to picture kissing Kyuhyun again, pushing him down on the bed-
“How long until the lights go out?” Kyuhyun asked.
“An hour.”
“Oh,” Kyuhyun said with a smile that maybe wasn't all that innocent.
Sungmin frowned. “Did I just corrupt you?”
“No,” Kyuhyun said casually. “Are you going to?” he asked with a grin.
“I don't know yet,” Sungmin said. “I'll think about it.”
“Can you hand me my book?” Kyuhyun asked and Sungmin did, and sat next to Kyuhyun on his bunk as they waited for the lights to go out.
Cho Kyuhyun wasn't awfully clever, but he was smarter than Sungmin gave him credit for, and if he would get corrupted, it would be because he wanted to. Sungmin considered this and a lot of things, and eventually fell asleep against Kyuhyun's shoulder, and thus wasn't able to corrupt him any further that night but in the morning, waking up with Kyuhyun's arm around his waist, he thought maybe that didn't really matter at all.

A/N: Been apathetic about writing as of late. It doesn't show in this chapter but in chapters 8 & 9 it may be apparent. I'll try to work on it, re-write and edit as much as possible.
So here we have KyuMin macking .. finally! KangTeuk therapy, obligatory Hongki-reference and ShiHan and ..that's about it.
No real extras for this chapter, unless you missed these:
Therapy logs Except I just remembered, a scene after Sungmin leaves the table:
“Wow,” Yesung said. “What's up with you two?”
Kyuhyun didn't answer.
“We really are like a fucking gay prison soap,” Yesung continued. “Dammit, I hate to admit it when TV5XQ guys are right.”
“Those fags shouldn't be talking,” Kangin said, “but I'll admit it's true this time.”
“We'd make a good sitcom,” Eeteuk said.
“Totally,” Yesung said sardonically. “Let's call it Rainbow Romance.”
“Heechul can star,” Kangin added.
Kyuhyun let out a long sigh.
Would I let a chance to make a stupid referential joke slip by me? NEVER. ;D
Also, my deepest apologies on the fact that the in theory always fantastic ShiHan never quite delivers, and manage to be super-awkward even when I make them make out. It's a puzzle. Why do I fail at this pairing. Oh well. At least I seem to get the KiHae right. :P
Hope you enjoy!
Edit:
!!!! IMPORTANT !!!!
I seem to have lead people to the misconception that Henry and FT Island will be characters in the fic. THEY WON'T BE.
Why? Because it's already large enough a fic cast AND I can't write any of these new boys. I don't even know names of FTI boys. :P
I feel like I'm disappointing you all majorly with this but eh, I write the story I sat down to write and can't really make this sort of massive changes... :/ Sorry!
