I sort of miss Winter right now. This is the kind of thing that people in sunny California do not experience. So I wrote this note for Facebook, since that is the biggest means of communicating to all of my acquaintances at the same time. And I wrote it to tell people how I feel, but more than anything I had to say it aloud. It's like telling someone something that you felt, but didn't realize you felt until you heard yourself say it. I am horrible with money. If I ever make anything more than what I make now I will have to hire someone to manage it for me. When my Grandparents (on my Dad's side)'s estate was split up between my aunt, my sister, my brother, and I, I got around $16,000. So, the kitten spilled the glass of water that I idiotically left next to my keyboard yesterday. I discovered this last night at 4am when I got home from work. Today I took apart the keyboard to see if I could dry it out (it was working, but some of the keys were double-striking). My primary focus needs to be on doing what makes me happy. Doing what I know I love to do. I love to be creative, I love to write. I love thinking up new and creative ways to tell stories. I often wonder if the reason why I never have the energy/gumption/motivation to do all the things I want to do is because I am so active at what I do for a living. Hmm, so I decided that it was a good idea to take a nap at 8pm last night. I set an alarm for 9pm, thinking that I would get up, maybe go to Kieran's and get something to eat and a drink or two, and come back home. So last night I got home at about 2:30-3am and I was hungry. Jimmy Johns was closed, Pizza Luce (our resident late night pizza place) was closed, and I had no food. Well, almost no food.
