WICKED the Musical + mystery illness diagnosed!
So my mystery illness has been diagnosed, it's diabetes, which is so pedestrian that I am little annoyed how many diagnostic tests I have done since August.
Don't get me wrong, I am grateful that I am now on a medication regime that will hopefully manage my symptoms. Including low energy, which I have been suffering from for years thanks to my iron ( Read more... ) -
September Adventures + Mystery illness
September was fun and exhausting. To kick off September, I took a two Saturday beginner course in archery with my club as a sort of refresher since I had forgotten a lot of my archery techniques. It was fun!

QSO - Blaze of Glory
So this weekend was my 7th show on the QSO subscription. It was the Blaze of Glory which played Symphony in B minor, D.759 from Franz Schubert, which is considered unfinished. It sounded pretty finished to my ears. However, historians agree that Schubert moved on before finishing it.

Finally caught up to the Warrior of Rome series
I have finally caught up to the Warrior of Rome series! The last book I read before this year was The Amber Road, which I read shortly after it was released almost 10 years ago! Boy, time sure flies!
I also bought The Last Hour, which is the next book in the series, pretty much straight after it was released, but I didn't read it until this year. ( Read more... ) -
QSO - Symphony Fantastic, FX - Shogun & Warrior of Rome Series
So, I am 50% through my Queensland Symphony Orchestra subscription. The 5th show of my 10-show package was Symphony Fantastic. The main pieces for the concert were Hector Berlioz's five-part music program, which he composed to express his one-sided love for an actress (who did eventually become his wife).

Japan: As great as ever!
So I just returned from A Night in Japan event at the Mt Gravatt Street Food Market. It was a great time, and my niece and nephew wore the Kimono and Haori I brought for them from Japan. So today seems to be a good day to write up about my trip to Japan earlier in the year.

Update: I rewrote the two entries I deleted. Let's hope I don't make any more accidental deletes!

My QSO Subscription + Disney's Beauty and the Beast
So I accidentally deleted two posts. But since I use this Livejournal as a diary for myself, I have decided the rewrite the entries I accidentally deleted.
