So, I deleted two entries accidentally because I didn't realise deleting drafts would affect my published posts. The two posts deleted covered things I did in January and February. At the end of July, I watched Oppenheimer with a group of friends. It was great but then again, I have enjoyed all the Christopher Nolan films I have watched. Notably, I am yet to watch Tenant. I intend to rectify that soon!

I don't have a lot to say about Oppenheimer. I love history in general, and I didn't know much about the Manhattan Project ( Read more... )

In the long, long past of 2006, I wrote in this Journal that Hobart was the most boring city I have ever visited. I no longer think that, and I suspect my assessment in 2006 was a bit haste because a lot of the boredom was due to me not having enough entertainment in my hotel room.

So I am on Threads, which is great because while I wasn't prolific on Twitter, I do want to share random thoughts every now and then, for which Twitter was ideally suited! So yeah, looking forward to being active on Threads. Because I have had a lot of stuff happen to me in the last month or so, and I have been wanting to vent into the void!

So I stopped journaling here some time ago, mostly because my life got fairly boring outside of my work and I never thought of this site as a place for my work. It was for travel, shows and fandom stuff!
