September was fun and exhausting. To kick off September, I took a two Saturday beginner course in archery with my club as a sort of refresher since I had forgotten a lot of my archery techniques. It was fun!

So I just returned from A Night in Japan event at the Mt Gravatt Street Food Market. It was a great time, and my niece and nephew wore the Kimono and Haori I brought for them from Japan. So today seems to be a good day to write up about my trip to Japan earlier in the year.

In the long, long past of 2006, I wrote in this Journal that Hobart was the most boring city I have ever visited. I no longer think that, and I suspect my assessment in 2006 was a bit haste because a lot of the boredom was due to me not having enough entertainment in my hotel room.
