Beautiful day today, if a bit chilly for my taste for September; I remembered what I was doing 7 yrs ago, as did many of us.

I had mastitis, too...Not a great day then. :)

Took a walk today, otherwise rested - Took pics...did laundry...made a to-do list...talked to Mom.

Yesterday happened to be WWKIP day - that is to say, "World Wide Knit In Public Day". :) I hosted a meetup on our town green for anyone interested, and I had about 8 people show up. It's forecast to be quite hot here tomorrow throughWednesday - so we'll be breaking out the fans, and making more ice cubes. I made Iced Tea Cubes tonite, and tomorrow morning I'll put out two jugs of sun tea. Boo & Edwin will go to the garden while I work, so they can get the weeding done early, before the sun bakes the soil - and them.

...and I'm rather embarassed that it took me a MONTH to do a pair of freakin' socks. Ah, well - they ARE done. Washed, even. Will be packed up tomorrow, unless shit happens again, if so they'll get packed up on Saturday.

Today: Pottery class went well - Boo made a birdhouse! They're not on the wheel yet, that'll probably be next week.

We went to a quick birthday party tonite, that was also fun. Boo's FINALLY fallen asleep, probably close to 11pm - again, far too late. We've got to get back to starting our evening routine earlier.

My husband is my Hero. :) Edwin fixed the computer! He took out something inside... (near the?) Heat Sink? Sinque? I dunno, and he's asleep, so I can't ask him. Anyway, he took it out and cleaned inside it - and said that he's SURE that was the issue. So far, so good - and that was HOURS ago! I got Beets, Carrots and Cucumbers planted in the Community Garden on Monday; I am planning to wait until it warms up a bit/dries out a bit to plan the green & yellow beans.
