Yesterday we went to Bennett Nurseries in search for a new plant for our anniversary* and found blueberries and raspberries! Andy's been wanting to add more fruit to our garden for a while, but since the time to plant is in fall, Bennett finally got some in stock. We still need to go back and get a hydrangea. Our Clematis is in full bloom and it's wonderful! And with this cooler weather, windows open, the breeze carries their scent to fill our bedroom...it's so refreshing! We have it growing in five different places this year. Last year it was only in three, so it jumped to two new places.

Oh, the joys of living in the South during the Summer/Fall changes. There was a week where the sirens went off at least every other day. Crazy! The sirens always make me so tense. I love this weather! This weekend we've slept with the windows open. It's nice to fall asleep feeling the breeze wisp through the house. And awake to chirping birds and streaks of morning sun. I'm totally a morning person as the weather gets warmer ( Read more... )
