This had overall been a very successful day. The hot springs were a lot of fun, especially after the stress lately, and what was more, the kitchen had been unguarded at just the right moment for Milk to pop into her true form, break into the pantry, and drag off a small bag of sweets. Now in her human form so she could carry them easier, she was sneaking down the hall with her back against the wall, hoping not to be noticed.

This was in all fact very noticeable.

Noticeable or not, Isshin had a very good sight when it came to searching for his son, and it only took him a few seconds down the hall before he encountered the sneaking Milk, who he greeted with rousing enthusiasm.

"Why hello there, miss!" the man started as he bellowed right behind her, sounding like the Very Happy Man that he was as he hurried up to catch up with the other, Hikari lagging behind somewhat. "A fine day we're having today now, eh?"

Kurumi flailed and nearly let go of her prize. As it was, some of her carefully stolen chocolates flew everywhere, with at least half still remaining in the bag. She turned around and glared at the newcomers.

"What are -- don't tell me you really are invaders here to steal our food."

"Wha--" the man started, somewhat caught by surprise at that question; he quickly recovered however, and was soon flashing his smile once more. "Why, of course not! I wouldn't think of doing anything like that!" The Silvana did serve rather good food after all, so there was no reason for him to do something like that! Besides, stealing was so very wrong.

Braska was in the infirmary - not really working, per se, as there weren't any serious injuries to deal with, and half the ship seemed to be off enjoying the city, but he was doing some tidying, and organizing some of the records. He had already done his little tour of Licere, picked up a few things for himself - it wasn't really his sort of city, on the whole, and he was content with the quiet for now, after all that had happened.

Unfortunately for Braska (much as it was for just about anyone, really), his peace was not to last long - especially when there was one Kurosaki Isshin in search for his son.

"ICHIIIIIIIIGOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!" went the enthusiastic cry as the man all but burst into the infirmary, somehow managing to spare the door from a terrible fate of being knocked down or broken into splinters. Sometimes, one really had to wonder how he managed to do that.

Braska jumped at the sudden noise, and then winced slightly as the movement jarred ribs that weren't quite completely healed yet. He recovered quickly enough, though, and gave the newcomer a polite smile. "Something I can help you with?" He didn't recognize the man, but he hadn't quite met everyone on board yet...

Recovering quickly after his rather dramatic entrance, Isshin glanced around the infirmary for his precious son - perhaps he might be here instead, what with the Hollow thing and all... that would be perfect then, since he'd be able to ambush and be able to one-up him after all these years! Such was the Kurosaki Way.

His search was interrupted when Braska's voice came from the side, and the man turned round to see the light-haired other before grinning - maybe, this kind man could help him! "Ah yes - you see, I'm currently searching for my darling son on this ship, but he seemed to have disappeared on me... perhaps you might want to aid me on this, fine sir?"

[CLOSED TO NESS' CABIN] fallingjunkyard January 19 2010, 04:32:03 UTC
What on Reial would it take to get some privacy in Licere, seriously? First Isshin, then Haruhi and her motley friends... it was almost as if the definition of the word 'private' had been changed to the one for 'public'. Ever since Joshua and Ness had left their hot spring, though, the pain from his injury was starting to pick up again.

But Joshua didn't want to rest. No, not even in Ness' room. And he wanted to make this point very clear. Frowning, he said grumpily, "It hurts just as much when I'm lying down as it does when I'm standing up. Why should I even bother lying down?"

After the entire hot springs ordeal, Ness felt tired. But he still had to take care of Joshua. Which wouldn't be a big deal if Joshua would just rest like he told him to. Ness thought that bringing Joshua somewhere other than the infirmary would make him more receptive to the idea. But no, Joshua was Joshua and that meant making things difficult.

"I told you, you'll heal faster if you rest," Ness sighed. But he didn't feel like arguing with Joshua. It would go nowhere and Ness wasn't in a good mood. It might end up with him punching Joshua.

In the ribs.

"But if you don't want to, fine, we'll do something else."

Joshua immediately perked up when Ness seemed to agree with him. His usual grin came back on his face. He knew Ness would see things his way eventually. Who wouldn't, when he was such an intelligent and charismatic person?

Curling a hand by his cheek, Joshua asked Ness cheerfully, "Oh? And what would that 'something else' be?"

It wasn't that Ness agreed with Joshua, it was that he was taking the path of least resistance. He always had that trump card of using his powers to put Joshua to sleep, but he'd rather not use it. Joshua would just complain about it when he woke up.

Ness folded his arms, with a clear look of irritation on his face. "You're the one who doesn't want to rest. You think of something."

Hughes had some work to get to, one thing he wanted to see to was finally getting those blood stains out of the hallway. It'd likely be near impossible now, he's probably have to get some other sort of stain to just make the whole hallway darker. Or maybe paint, but then it'd be really dark, perhaps they needed brighter lights. Could they get brighter lights?

Hughes was just standing in the hall just outside his room, contemplating his options.

The hall had been quiet as Hughes went deep into his thoughts, but that silence was only soon shattered (like always, really) as Isshin came into the picture.

"ICHIIIIIIIIIIGOOOOOOOOOO!!" exclaimed the man as he made his appearance from around the corner, flying head on towards Hughes.

All right, let's get this show on the road! gypsymothdance January 21 2010, 07:59:07 UTC
Jean had seen better days. Of course, she had seen worse days as well, so other than the faintest of sighs to herself, she kept her troubles to herself. The best way to keep herself from dwelling on things was to keep active, working in the background of the daily hustle and bustle of the ship, and keeping her breaks short so she didn't wonder too much what her absent friends were up to.

"... I'm sure we'll see him again soon," she remarked to herself as she broke her thoughtful gaze and returned her attention to cleaning in the kitchen. It wasn't that she wasn't worried about Ichigo's sudden disappearance. However, it would do no one any good if she worried herself sick about him while he was gone. She had to keep faith in her friend and keep living her life in the meantime.

That silence wasn't going to last too long though, as it only took a few moments after that before the father of a certain runaway from the ship had come crashing into the kitchens quite loudly - as it was always for him of course, more often than not.

"MY SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!!" came the exclamation that broke the silence as Isshin entered into the scene, fully on and ready to find his son as the elder man snapped into a ready stance, dark eyes scrutinizing the room with the best attention he could muster up. So farm his search hadn't turned up with a lot of results, but that sure didn't mean he would give up! He'd take however long he had to before he found his precious Ichigo!

...thus so concentrated he was in his search, the man didn't even noticed Jean right nearby him.

Jean jumped in surprise, tossing the wet cloth she was holding a few feet in the air when she did. Luckily, she caught it quickly enough out of reflex that it didn't hit the floor. But she put it down on a nearby counter anyway as she turned, stunned and bewildered, at the man who had just barged into the room shouting at the top of his lungs.

Obviously, he was not looking for her, and in fact didn't seem to notice her at all. But it was worth seeing if she could help regardless, or at least figure out what was going on before he messed up the kitchen she had just been cleaning. She cleared her throat to try and catch his attention and asked, "Excuse me, but do you need something?"

Fortunately (or maybe unfortunately, depending on how one saw it) for Jean, Isshin had caught her when she called out for him, and so turned towards the green-haired female with the best grin he could muster up on his face (which was really one hell of a grin, to be honest).

"Ah, yes!" he started, and his teeth might have sparkled there and then as he spoke. "You see, I'm currently trying to look for my precious darling son, but he seems to have disappeared on me! Perhaps you might have seen him, fine miss?"
