Setting: All over the ship.

Harlequin had just arrived at the door to the props room, standing on the portable mini-stepladder that Mr. Gintoki had been so kind as to build for him so he could reach door handles easily. He had just finished working out a script for one of the fairy tales in the book Miss Sophie had given him for Lunasa and he wanted to see what items they already had and what would need to be purchased or built. He had been getting fairly good with the wood-working tools that Mr. Gintoki had also given him right before he'd left, but Quin wasn't sure he was up to the skill to make anything for others yet, though he'd keep trying!

He paused, however, when he heard footsteps coming down the hall. Now, who could that be?

The answer to that question would come very very fast - and in the form of one hyperactive and overenthusiastic man who had invaded the ship for a Very Important Mission, that mission being...

"ICHIGOOOOOOOOOOOO!" shouted Isshin as he barrelled down into the hallway, his booming voice travelling down the corridor. "My precious son, you don't need to hide from me! Daddy's here for you~!"

Harlequin yelped in shock and toppled off the stepladder, hitting the planks of the floor with a clatter like a sack of wooden spoons.

W-wait . . . he knew that voice! Well, not knew knew it, but he'd heard it before, back very shortly after he'd joined the ship, and then Brother and Mr. Watanuki had been hurt.

As much as the thought of the man still made him kind of nervous even all these months later, the little puppet found himself hopping back up on the stool before he could think twice, bouncing and waving his arms to be noticed.

"Mr. Ichigo's-Dad! Mr. Ichigo's-Dad! Over here!"

It didn't take too long or too much before the voice was picked up by Isshin, and the man turned around before blinking at the sight of... a puppet apparently jumping on a stool.

...well, that wasn't exactly the strangest thing he knew, but it certainly was somewhere up there.

Still, it wasn't anything for him to get too weirded out over anytime soon. Smile still on his face, Isshin went over towards where the puppet was, looking every bit like the insane fine old man that he was. "Why hello there, Puppet-san! Have you seen my son anywhere, perhaps?"
