VASH'S GROUP - HEADING NORTHEASTstampededOctober 9 2008, 06:30:45 UTC
Vash stepped off the gangplank, took one deep breath of the humid air, and sneezed.
The jungle loomed ahead of them, and loudly, at that - even from this distance, it wasn't silent. There were the sounds of strange bird calls, and of the bugs dancing between the trees. It was the most foliage Vash had ever seen in his life, but even so, he couldn't bring himself to quite appreciate it. He'd heard a few things about Kagatau in his time that not only made him pause, but made him want to turn right back around and steer the ship back to Vohemar.
It was too late to do that now. Rubbing his nose, he turned to his group with a smile, "Okay! Are we all ready to go?"

Shido was in an uncharacteristically good mood. If there was one thing he'd missed while in the Limitless Fortress, one thing he'd longed for every time he had to set foot on another airship, it was wilderness. Forests teeming with life, with the sound of animals hidden in the foliage made him feel at home in a way that human civilisations never could. Even the oppressive heat didn't bother him.
This was definitely more interesting than a little country fair.

Swinging her shuriken over her shoulder, Yuffie threw Vash a reckless grin and a shake of the head.
"Ready? I was born ready, spikey."
Yuffie wasn't exactly one to get all cozy with nature and the humid weather was something that was pretty much icking her out. But the idea of finding treasure or valuables of any sort (because really, what kind of jungle didn't have some kind of gold? Or even better, mana crystals?) was enough to get her off the ship and into the wild.
Maybe she'd get lucky and find a way to sneak away from the group. There was no good in being held down by the bunch of them anyways, and the bird boy would probably get in the way somehow.

Hana was...somewhat less than ready. He still didn't want to go into the jungle--and he wasn't even in Haruhi's group! He was only here because of Haruhi, what was the point int hat if they weren't even in the same group--and he didn't think he'd ever get used to this humidity. They'd hardly left the ship, and already he was sweating up a storm.
He had managed to find his father's sword from where it had been hiding in his mess of a room; not that it would do him much good. He had almsot no idea how to use it. But still, it made him feel at least a little better about wading into the terrifying jungle.
Wordlessly, Hana nodded, trying to swallow his fear.
TEAM RYUZAKI - HEADING NNWsugarforteatimeOctober 9 2008, 06:34:48 UTC
L was not pleased about being forced to wear shoes and head out into the depths of a jungle. He had replaced his sword with a machete for the jungle undergrowth and he was waiting for his team to arrive. Ichigo, Tails, Luffy, and Oingo. He only knew one of them personally, Oingo, and they had not gotten off on a particularly good foot.
He'd packed a great deal of candy for the road and was prepared - he thought.
After his small team was assembled he looked at all of them, still uncertain this was a good idea at all.
"We will be heading to the north-north-west direction. Please keep alert and try to value your lives. We are searching for the location of the play, and any information pertaining to the play."
Re: TEAM RYUZAKI - HEADING NNWfindmyownwayOctober 9 2008, 06:59:15 UTC
Tails was excited, but also a bit nervous. He didn't know anyone on the team he'd been assigned too, except Ichigo who he'd only spoken to once, so he wasn't sure what to expect. He kinda wished that Sonic was with him, or even Shadow, but that couldn't really be helped. Besides, he couldn't rely on Sonic all the time. He was still nervous though.
He also wasn't sure how much help he would be. This jungle was much different than the woods back home and he wasn't much of a fighter nor did he have any other useful skills. Still he'd wanted to go because he'd never been on a real treasure hunt before and this might be fun.
At least he'd brought some of his tools along.
"Okay." Tails nodded at Ryuuzaki's orders, and began to follow him being sure to keep an eye on his surroundings. He tried not to look too edgy.
TEAM <s>AWESOME</s> RYUZAKI - HEADING NNWd_luffymonkeyOctober 9 2008, 07:21:28 UTC
It was simply quite easy to say that Luffy was very, very excited - fancy this, a treasure hunt just like what real pirates would do! It was yet another step closer in fulfilling his dreams - his dream to be the bestest pirate in the whole of Reial. And now what better way than to look for real treasure

"This whole trip is bullocks," Oingo scoffed, putting on his best display of not wanting to be there MUCH LESS under Ryuzaki's direct command. Amongst his chief desires, at that moment, was to just deck Mr. Smary Pants with an orange and revel in victory. The images that played out in his mind of such a scene were rather vivid and satisfying, perhaps the one thing that kept him from acting out so STUPIDLY in reality.
But, he at least had something to offer to the party. He had grown up in the Badlands practically on his own, so this didn't seem that farfetched to him. There was still a trace of worry in him, though. And the sweat on his brow was not just from the humidity...
Group Captain! Heading North; North EastadligenOctober 9 2008, 06:37:27 UTC
There was nothing quite like the smell of a good day out. Of course, Kurt's idea of a good day out and everyone else's tended to differ quite a bit. Not many people happily marched forward into an unexplored jungle.
But then, Kurt himself had probably done far more dangerous in his past.
With a grin he stepped to the side and watched everyone else pile from the ship. He lifted a hand and waved. "Everyone with my group, meet over here, please!"
Group Captain! Heading North; North Eastwhite_hymnOctober 10 2008, 04:36:04 UTC
"Hey!"
A brunette woman waved enthusiastically over at the captain, leaping off the side of the gangplank with relative ease as she jogged over towards Captain Kurt. She stopped in front of him and gave him a playful salute, smiling the entire time as she spoke.
"Yunalesca Bellevue, reporting in!" Yuna giggled as she brought her hand down. "Just call me 'Yuna', though! My full name is five letters too long." She was rather cheerful today for a reason, that reason being the thrill of adventure. She hasn't gotten a chance to really stretch her legs since the fair in Shashta and by now Yuna was just begging for an excuse wear her thick boots and shorts with both pistols hanging off the side of her brown belt. She wore a loose fitting white and pink tank top today; the jungle heat was just too much for a short-sleeved shirt in her opinion.
"Wow...look at this place." She commented as her bi-colored eyes wandered about.

Sophie had been ready for adventure, boots laced, hat tied on and frying pan over her shoulder--what she hadn't expected was having to coax Wolf out of the ship to go on this adventure. It had taken a while, but eventually she'd convinced him. Stepping out into the muggy, bright air from the ship finally, she spotted her group, the only one not beginning to disperse, and hurried over. "Hey, sorry I took so long," she apologized humbly.
Hopefully Wolf would be right behind her...But this was exciting! A whole jungle to explore, a lost play to find--and her friends with her--it'd be great!
Team Monkey- I mean Zidane! Heading North WestthespianmonkeyOctober 9 2008, 06:42:48 UTC
Zidane was stoked, to put it simply. He wasn't so sure on the leader idea, but he figured he could keep track of a couple crew members. He found it a little odd that Doumeki wasn't going to come, but oh well.
He bounced out and claimed the spot in the direction he planned to go. He grabbed everything he could carry for supplies and made sure both of his daggers were safely at his side.
With a little luck, they'd all come home from this famous and rich. Sounded like a fantastic idea to him.

Oh wow, oh wow. A treasure hunt for a long lost play. This was going to be great. She was a little sad that some of her friends weren't in the same group, but there was Laharl and also Zidane, so maybe it wouldn't be so bad. She definitely hoped Hana was alright, but at least Ness was alright back on the ship!
That armor-guy was here as well. He played the Steel Samurai in Berum, but she'd never really talked to him before. "Oh, hey there Al. I just wanted to say I really loved you in the play."
That probably wasn't the more important thing to say when preparing for a jungle adventure but she wanted to say it.

Laharl stood with the others, slightly irate, enormous greatsword at his back. He wasn't quite sure why the blue guy hadn't picked him to lead an expedition; he'd said he'd had experience with both treasure hunting (and looting) and jungles, but more importantly - he was the Overlord
