Had a lovely time last night at the NYE shindig. I made Octo-paella for the potluck and it turned out very yummy, so that's a win. I'll have to remember that for the future. Stopped by the old house last night for a quick check, and found that the heat was out and a pipe upstairs (of COURSE upstairs) had burst at some point over the last two days. Anyway, I saw the movie last night with Chaz and Osirus, and enjoyed it a LOT but I will post no spoilers because I appreciate other folks doing the same. I want to see it again, maybe in 3D this time.

- Got a NOTICE OF TOLL DUE (scary all-caps not mine) from the Maryland DOT, who are claiming that on my exit from I-495 on June 12, I failed to pay $2.35 in tolls. There is a picture of my car and everything. So I got a smaller splint that allows me to knit, huzzah! And I am trying to make up time on the sock commissions which had been stalled, but apparently I got used to sloth, and have no gumption.
