My summer is almost over. Camp is done in two weeks and then everyone who has been so important to me this summer is gone, back to england and australia, south africa and brazil and mexico. Time never slows down anymore.

So my summer is a little less than halfway over because I'm heading back to school early to be an orientation leader (if they ever send me the information about the people I'm orientating). Driving home today was so surreal.
It wasn't like I was coming home from my FIRST, FINISHED year of college. I felt like I was coming home from a camping trip.
The final result is that absolutely nothing seems different being at home. I was never gone. I like this feeling.

And my dad's truck revived my ipod, which is awesome.

As terrible as this is, one of my favorite things to do is read really stupid people's profiles on AIM. Why? Because despite the fact that they are stupid, they usually have really inciteful things to say OR you realize that they are only smart at one thing ( Read more... )

I applied for an orientation leader position and got it because of lack of interest which is a shitty way to get something BUT I'm still excited.
I saw Malia on Sunday for the first time in over a year which was also quite exciting

My friend is in the hospital with meningitis. He has been the hospital for 2 weeks now and sounds more and more tired each time I talk to him. I don't know how serious his condition is, but please pray for him.

It has finally occurred to me that I basically ditched some of the best friends I could have ever asked for during senior year. If I think about it, I rarely actually hung out with stephanie or ashley or rachael or any of them except allison, and even then it wasnt that often. I hung out with danny.
