(no subject)
So my summer is a little less than halfway over because I'm heading back to school early to be an orientation leader (if they ever send me the information about the people I'm orientating). I expected this summer to be more exciting because I would be home and be able to see all those people that I haven't seen for most of the year and yet I haven't.
I ran into Allison, Rachael, and Kiana one of the first weekends and I can tell you right now that it was one of the most awkward situations of my life. I had a better conversation with Steven Chavez when I ran into him the week before. I hung out with Chris Hyndman instead of Danny (who by the way I rarely even talk to anymore) and we went and harassed Christian. Today I saw Stephanie at the bank and hung my head in hopes that she wouldn't see me because I didn't know what I would say to her even though I saw her more during the school year than anyone else.
Does anyone else find it odd how this summer is turning out? Maybe I'm the only one who feels that they have a very limited supply of friends at home these days, but that could also be based on how I'm spending my summer.
