I've just spoken to the vet again, Mara has been in for a few days. She has had a change of tubes so now she has a tap in her tummy. This means that she can wee normally herself but if she is having a problem we can intervene and drain her bladder. I was very concerned about this earlier but having spoken to Jon I am less so.
