Min merely nodded, his body visibly easing in his chair. He was slowly getting used to Jae’s anger, his moods, and now that he that he could relax… Min pushed the notes closer to him, as he began to tutor Jae for his next test.

Chapter 9
It was easier than most, but a part of it was still nerve-wracking for Min. Jae was quick to learn things, learning new information piece by piece and then figuring out their connections to each other. Maybe he just doesn’t want to study or put any effort for school…? Min thought, as he pulled out each of the notes one by one, outlining charts and graphs and writing out a list of definitions.
There would be times where Jae would show up late, where he would be “Fuck it” and just stop whatever he was doing. But there would also be times where he would focus entirely on the new information, his eyes intense as he started at the notes, as he started back at Min, processing the work and waiting for the answer Min would say, looking straight into his eyes.
It was during these moments, a spilt-second that they were, that threw Min completely off. He lost his composure as the serious dark eyes turned to his, listening for his words. The younger boy would lose his train of thought as the eyes bored into his, his words eventually drifting off as he tried to stammer them out, trying to get them across. It was only when the eyes turned back to the paper, that Min could regain the sense of what he was saying, that he could teach again.
There were also the constant touches too. Fingers would brush across each other, shoulders touching each other, elbows rubbing as the two poured over the papers. It was unintentional this time, more of a coincidence, Min knew, but would continue to blush with each contact, his cheeks reddening as Jae would flick his eyes towards the younger boy, amusement in his eyes, a smirk on his face. But Min he would continue to carry on the conversation, explaining each of the chapters in detail for the next test coming up.
But it would be the ending of the session, the time when the work had finished, when it was time to go home that made Min the most nervous. The first time it had happened, he was shocked, surprised at the action, but realizing later that he should have known better, that he simply should have been prepared.
Jae enveloped the younger boy’s lips in his own, plunging his tongue deep inside of his mouth, tracing the familiar sides. He pressed Min against him, his hands reaching underneath the uniform for the skin laid underneath there, gripping the bare sides to him as he tilted his head towards the side, swallowing the gasps the younger boy made. His tongue played around with Min’s, sliding in and out Min’s mouth as his lips pressed harder against the younger boy, pressed in deeper.
He would walk out suddenly then, leaving Min dazed in the school classroom, leaving him sitting on the chair, sliding on the floor, for a full ten minutes before Min could bring himself to pack up and leave.
It would happen every day, the last time being that Jae had bit the inside of Min’s lower lip.
Min felt the coppery taste slide into his mouth, his eyes closed, his lips pressed upon the older boy’s as his hands clenched against Jae for more air, the droplets trickling down the side of his mouth. He turned his head towards the side, his body shuddering as Jae lapped his tongue around the side of Min’s jaw, sucking slightly for the remaining drops. And as the blood would be smeared upon the side of his lips, Jae would wipe his tongue at it, licking it off to the side before he swiped the back of his hand across his mouth, his eyes narrowing as he felt the warm body against his.
It had left Min shuddering, his hand covering his mouth, his eyes closed as all he could feel was the taste of Jae and blood in his mouth.

He gets more and more sexy each time I see him…
It wasn’t noticeable at first, Yunho had decided. But there was something different, something about him that had changed. It wasn’t overnight, but rather small changes throughout the days as he sat next to Min, watched him and talked to him and Dong-wook about the project. It was as though he knew something, and it had altered him.
He was still quiet, his words sometimes turning into a shy stammer as he helped the other two, his smile still making his eyes mismatched. But it was in those eyes, Yunho had realized when looking into them, that there was something deeper, as though he himself had experienced something different.
There were other signs as well, small things Yunho wouldn’t normally pay attention to, but had been lately taking an interest as he watched Min over the days.
The way he walked was different, the awkwardness he had with his long legs disappeared, leaving him to walk smoother, a bit slowly, but still as though he knew how to use them properly, as though he knew his body well. When he was quiet he lost his nervousness, settling himself down with a calm silence that made it seem as though he was familiar with everything around him. When there was nothing he could do at the moment, he would look out through the window, a dazed and faraway look in his eyes. Times when he was reading, he would unconsciously chew on his lip, licking them slowly as he turned the pages.
He was changing… Yunho thought, and he wanted to know how. But it wasn’t only then he would take an interest, Yunho was interested in Changmin himself. The younger boy never refused to help out, even though the project wasn’t easy and he had no relation it, Min would always came to the library in his free period. He would settle himself down on the chair, taking out his book and reading it while waiting for any questions the older boys had.
He never complained, never whined, never said anything unpleasant. Just being around the younger kid made Yunho feel good, his peaceful disposition making the entire mood serene, something he liked in his busy life.
But as the week went on, Yunho wanted to know what was making Min change, and whether or not it had anything to do with the second time he had met the younger boy, the day when he looked at though he had been with someone. For some reason, Yunho felt something stir inside of him as he thought of that day, irritation creeping inside of him. It was me he first confessed to right? Having said that he like me for a while?
Then…is he involved with another? who? And why?

It was dark in the bedroom, the city lights of the night covered by curtains as Jae turned around in his bed, having fallen asleep as soon as he laid himself on it.
“You don’t think I know? That I haven’t figured it out?!” A 15-year old Jaejoong stood in the middle of the formal living room, his hands clenched at his sides as he yelled out. His father faced him, leaving a fair amount of distance between the two of them as he held another notice from the principle, anger in his eyes. A 13-year old Junsu was near the edge of the living room, by the door as he saw another fight between his older brother and his father.
“Figured what out? That you can never do anything productive? That all you could do was pretend to be tough, to act rebellious? After telling you over and over again that you shall not get into any more trouble, yet, I still receive another letter from your principle that you’re getting suspended? You good-for-nothing son of mine, and this is what I get?” His father’s voice cut across the room, his words a silent slap to Jaejoong’s face.
Jae’s face twisted into anger, his eyes blazing with defiance. “Son? Don’t even start with that bullshit-ever since Junsu was born, your real fucking son, you act as I don’t even exist, as though it’s a fucking embarrassment to have an adopted son in your house. ” Junsu flinched at the words, getting more scared as the seconds passed by. There had been frequent arguments lately, but this…this was the worse he had seen. This was the first time Junsu had ever felt scared in his life.
“You think that you can just forget about me? Now that you have a real heir, you think you can pretend I’m not here?! Well, you can take that and shove it up your ass for all I care! ‘Cause I know-I know what’s happening between you and your secretary and if mom-”
SLAP. The resounding slap was echoed throughout the room, the father’s hand held high as Jae tumbled backward, a hand to his face as felt the blood rush into his mouth.
“GET OUT! How dare you talk to me like this!” The words were low, being spat out of the father’s mouth as Jae felt his body shake with the force of the blow. “After all I have given you-all that you had, and you expect me to still take you in? With all this disrespect that you have given me, the profanity you-”
“Fine.” Jae looked up, hatred in his eyes as his hand cupped his bleeding mouth. “I’ll get out. And don’t worry you won’t have to ever see me again-”
“I still have custody over you until you graduate, so don’t even bother running away from school-”
“I fucking won’t!” Jae turned around, walking swiftly to his room, ignoring Junsu who was crouched down, his eyes wide, tears spilling out. Junsu got up, following him.
“Jae hyung, please. Please don’t do this hyung! He doesn’t really mean it, you know that! Hyung, listen please-”
“No. This is the end of all this shit!” Jae turned, looking straight into Junsu’s eyes before walking forward again, reaching his room, where he began pulling out his backpack and various other bags, reaching for his personal possessions.
“Hyung, please, please! What about mom, hyung? What about me? You can’t just-” Junsu was desperate, the tears freely flowing down his face as he tried to prevent Jae from packing.
“You?” Jae gave out a forced laugh, fake as he pulled away from Junsu’s hold. “When was the last time you stood up for me Junsu? Can you remember a time where you defended me from dad? Told him that I was better than what he thought, when was the last time you showed that you cared?!”
Junsu began to hiccup, the tears almost blinding his eyes, his arms a weak protest against Jae. “Jae hyung…p-pleas-se.. I-I lo-love you hy-hyung…p-pl-please do-don’t…”
Jae stuffed the rest of his things in the bags, sliding some of them over the shoulder the others he held in his hand.
“Tell mom I said goodbye.” Jae looked at Junsu one more time, his hands tightening around the bags. “Bye,” was the last word he said, before turning away and walking out.
“Hy-hyung! No..no! p-pl-please!”
Jae awoke with a start. He eyes flicked open as he turned his face towards the clock, the digits blinking 10:07. He got up when he realized it was his cell phone that had woken him up, the sound loud to his ears.
He reached for the phone, flipping it open and putting it towards his ear.
“What?”
Tablo’s unmistakable voice was heard over the cell phone, the voice loud over the music in the background. “Jae. Listen, I need you to BT early tonight. All I have right now bartending is TOP, and Baek Young won’t be making it. He’s got a family emergency.”
“I don’t start till 12. You know it. Plus I’m working the weekends.”
“I know, but it’s extremely busy tonight, and the new guy, Eru, has no idea what’s going on. And you’re one of the best we got. You’ll get paid overtime-”
“And don’t forget the freaking tips!” TOP’s voice was yelled out over the crowd.
“Yea, yea, so-”
“I’ll be there.” Jaejoong shut the phone, throwing it on the bed as he slid out of his bed in only his boxers. He headed off towards the bathroom, choosing to forget all about the dreams he occasionally had, the dreams that showed him what had happened, remembrances of what he had lost.
