I'm sitting here doing my nails and listening to the new Ari Hest album. Over and over. It's come to this. Well, in my defense, the manicures have become necessary, as the bullshit cold weather makes my nails crack. So it's not exactly a vanity thing.

Yes, I'm still awake. Tiff and I spent today making a storage run (we managed to do all our loading and unloading in the dark, also, since the lights in our section were out and the promised help never arrived...oh well) and picking up supplies for the party we're having next Friday. Last night Tiff made an A-MAZINg dinner of pork chops with baked apples and onions, squash with some kind of awesome nut and cranberry stuffing, mashed potatoes, and rolls...there might have been other stuff, but I got lost at the squash. Nom.

Anyone who knows me would vouch for the fact that I am totally emo about stuff. Not the perfectly mussed hair/black eyeliner/Dashboard Confessional knows my pain kind of emo, though. More like I am a champion, olympic-gold-medal crier. And the more I try not to cry in any situation the worse it gets. It's incredibly frustrating.

The way my schedule ended up this semester, I'm working till 8 or 9PM every Wednesday night. I get to go in around noon to compensate, but...it sucks.
