Today I got a last-minute invite to a joint birthday party for some former coworkers. I was excited to be going out, having spent all of last night on the couch alone. So...this past weekend we celebrated my birthday. The actual day isn't till Thursday, but since that is also a holiday and all we set aside another day, as usual.
