Hello everyone who reads this. Things have been rather hectic and strange lately. Weather is much too warm and I don't do well with heat. Has a tendency to make me ill. Well, it has been a while since I posted so figured I might as well. Things are pretty quiet around here. Everybody is working different shifts so don't get to see too much of my family. Saying goodbye never gets any easier. Watching my son leave again for Iraq was difficult. You try so hard to be strong for them and not make it harder for them to go... but inside you are bleeding and sobbing. The drive home was spent in tears. Well, I don't think I've experienced so many days of thunderstorms since I've moved to Alaska (which was a long time ago!). Been having daily thunder and lightning for the last three days. The most important thing that has happened recently is the arrival home of my son from Iraq for 2 weeks r&r. It is so wonderful to see him and be able to hug him frequently. Got the phone call we have been waiting for this morning! My son called from the Dallas airport. He has made it stateside and we will pick him up at the Anchorage airport at 2330. Patiently waiting to hear something from my son as to when he will be stateside. Course with the military it is "hurry up and wait." He will call when he is able. Should finish having his stuff moved into his new room tomorrow and have his tv hooked up - he will have to do the game systems himself. No matter what, nothing is going to get me down! My son is on his way home from Iraq for 2 weeks! I can hardly wait to see him! It has been much to long since I have been able to give him a hug or been able to tell him face-to-face how proud of him I am and how much I love him. Soooon..... yes!

Life is so confusing and frustrating right now. Unfortunately I have been ill most of this spring but am finally starting to get better. Most recently have been dealing with severe bronchitis/pneumonia. Well, after two and a half months plus of severe pain and numerous doctor visits and tests they still have no clue what is causing my extreme abdominal pain. Since I cannot afford to go any longer without a paycheck I will be going back to work on Wednesday and try to deal with they pain as best I can. Don't know what else to do.
