As usual I am totally confused. Not sure what is going on but that is nothing new. Am currently on leave of absense from my job due to medical problems. Well, once again I am confused and disorganized. My children are growing up and leaving home, which is the natural order of things. My son is currently on active duty in HI prior to going to Iraq. Have not written all summer. Haven't had the time or inclination. Now I guess I will do some updating/venting. Or not. No one really cares what goes on in other peoples lives anyway... just as it relates to themselves. Or maybe it just seems that way.

Life is wonderful... my son is home again and my daughter has graduated from high school. Who could ask for more?

Once again it is drizzling... Alaska's version of rain. Slow going on remodeling work... plus sorting stuff to donate and get rid of. Yard needs mowing desperately but too wet. Trying to do remodeling yourself is a royal pain when no one works the same hours or days! Even trying to communicate and coordinate plans and ideas is really hard. Just wanted to wish all the Mothers I know a wonderful day. It is nice here in Alaska - the sun is shining, it is about 60 degrees out, the trees are starting to leaf out, the grass is turning green (about ready to mow already!), saw my first robin this week. The snow is mostly gone except for a few shaded places where it was especially deep. The trees are starting to bud and the grass is starting to green a bit thanks to the spring drizzle.
