I don't have the biggest iPod in the world, and since some of the nerdcasts I listen to have gone to being videa podcasts, I'm bumping up against my space limitations. Everyone's getting irate over a few executards getting bonuses which are in excess of a million dollars,  in spite of the fact that the companies they're employed by have gone down the tubes.  Some people are actually picketing their houses to get them to give some or all of the money back.

In the interest of maintaining a drama-free life, I have been forced to make this journal "friends only". I am saddened to have to do this because it's gong to make it just that much harder for my family to keep up with me. They released us from inventory early tonight, so I got home early enough to take Leila on a walk.  She's responding better, but she still doesn't want to come out of her backyard.  She used to get whacked for escaping, and now she isn't certain where her boundaries are.   I'm trying to pull her out of the back yard while keeping Bootsie, the ( Read more... )

On the advice of Muchafraid76, I sought out a Starbucks and tried the blueberry creme frappa-whatever.   I go into a Starbucks about once a year, and rarely on my own initiative.  The recommended drink was indeed tasty, but I had more entertainment value out of the attendants barristas.

Truly gleeful! :-)

And now, it is time to write.

Inventory sometimes lasts until 10pm, so they assuage their guilt by ordering pizza for lunch.  I have been good and have only eaten two slices, and now I am fighting the urge to go back for three or four more.

I wish someone would take the box away. :-(
