Description: Luke has some time off to recover from his arm, but doesn't want to stay with sick!Asch anymore right now, so he is out... while also on his painkillers.

Colette was out shopping when she spotted the redhead. The sling took her by surprise and she could only assume that he was injured in training or that latest mission. Just because it had been a success that did not mean people had not been hurt in assisting Shibusen, after all. "A-are you okay?" she asked as she approached. Maybe he needed help?

Luke blinked a couple times before his eyes finally focused on the blonde, a bright, happy smile on his face. "Hi~ I know you... Colette right?" He seemed stable, just a little unfocused, and clearly very happy. "You talked to me when I wasn't sleeping well!" he said, as if the revelation was like saying god had appeared in the sky, full of amazement.

"Oh! Yes! That's right!" Colette recalled him now, as he spoke, a smile at her lips. "I...I hope I helped, at least a little. But more importantly, you're all right now? Your arm was looked at in the clinic and everything?" because he really did look injured and tired, the Chosen noticed, peering at the other with concern. Of course, she herself was still adjusting to her own new partnership after Shishito left, but Colette always was the type to put others first. She was not about to talk to Luke about her problems. Not unless he pressed about them.

"mmmhumm I am sleeping lots better lately. The doctors had to sew me up, but they said I just have to not use it for a while and I will be okay." He reached out, his hand wavering just a little before he managed to land it softly on top of her head to ruffle her hair, giggling as he did so.

Sometime in the late afternoon, Hikaru was coming back from work, intending to buy some food as usual and go back to his apartment (we'll say he somewhere in between the two). His hair was tied back in a bandana but his was still wiping his hand across his forehead in that way people do when they were already giving in after a long day. Though the bright red hair was hard to miss, and that brought him to turn his head.

"Hey, Luke!" Hikaru lifted a hand to wave and promptly frowned when he saw his arm. "Ach, what happened? You went on that mission, huh?"

Luke turned his head to look at Hikaru, the action slow, so as not to leave his head spinning. He looked at the man for a moment with a look of confusion on his face before it cleared up, a smile finding it's way to his lips. "~karu!" He said happily, not even noticing that he had dropped the first part of the name. "mmmm got a little hurt, but it isn't bad." he answered and it became clear who ever had put the sling on him and made sure he couldn't move the arm at all as his shoulder shrugged a little while he tried to wave his arm to show it didn't hurt.

"...Karu," Hikaru snorted a little, "What's Karu?" He frowned a little more seriously though once he saw that Luke was ... well, under the influence, so to speak. A quick turn of his head was given to see if he wasn't being accompanied by someone. Seriously, wouldn't that be better? "Should you be out wandering around like this?" He asked, putting a hand on the redhead's forehead once he was close enough, to see if he had a fever or if he was just in pain. His hand went to Luke's good shoulder just to make sure he was steady.

"Did you just bust out of the joint or what?" He had to admit the thought was kind of amusing, considering how quiet and pouty Luke was when they met.

He giggled slightly at the question, but decided against pointing out that he had said Hikaru's name. Especially as he ignored it in favor of pressing into the hand on his forehead, he wasn't too hot, maybe a little warm but the hand there felt nice and comforting, as did the one that ended up on his shoulder.

"Didn't wanna be stuck with Asch 'nny more, he~s sick, and a grumpy pants. So I went out."

I think we can have our hot chocolate now, yes? :3

Roy happened to be on the streets at that moment - he was on the way back to the DOGS Office after doing a quick round through the city. He was, after all, a commander who liked to watch his men in action.

He blinked upon recognizing Luke, and immediately approached.

"Luke."

Yes XD also making him a liiiittle more lucid for this xD

Luke looked in the direction of the voice, his head moving slower than normal, but only the faintly distant look in his eyes he didn't show any signs of being on medicines. "Sir?" He said, looking over at Roy, cocking his head to the side. "I know I was supposed to be resting, Sir, but the apartment is... busy right now, so out here is a bit better." He said, worried that Roy might be disappointed that he was outside wandering around instead of laid up in a bed. His meds were helping on that too.

"As long as you're not straining yourself."

'Busy'? That would make it hard to rest, depending on what sort of activity constituted 'busy'. Roy wasn't about to pry, however.

"How are you feeling?"

"Nope, I am being careful, I want to be in shape to come back to work soon."

Busy of course meant Asch either being sick and grumpy or medicated and loopy, while Rufus alternately tried to medicate Asch or keep him from doing something less than intelligent while drugged.

"Well the pain pills help keep my arm from hurting, just wish they didn't always make my head so muddled... aside from that, bored, there isn't much for a one armed person to do."

Somewhere near Fatality?

Spirit had gone home for a while to check in on Ryoki, but the day was still young (despite being up at the crack of dawn), and he had a few reports to finish in his office. Besides, Grit would get mad at him if he let his office become a sty again, and Spirit was resolved to tidy up a little... just a little... every day so it wouldn't be so bad. The redhead was just exiting the lavish and tall building when he spotted another familiar redhead.

"Hey, Luke!" he called, noting the arm slung to the kid's chest. It would heal well if Luke didn't do anything to it, he guessed. Spirit jogged over and peered at Luke's face. "Hey, you all right? What're you doing here?"

"Hummm?" Luke made a slightly confused, almost questioning hum sound before a sudden bright grin plastered itself on his. "Spirit!" He said, hugging the man with his one good arm, though the way his shoulder move it was clear he wanted to give him a full hug, but someone must have taken care when tying his arm to his body.

"Ju~st wandering, the apartment is too busy and annoying, so I thought I would go out!" He seemed to hug all the tighter to make up for only having one arm to use.

"Hey, hey! Careful with the arm, there," he said with equal cheer, returning the hug with a pleased laugh and ruffling Luke's hair. Oh, what a cute kid! "You shouldn't be out here with that kind of injury still healing, though. Doesn't it hurt?"

"Huh?" He seems genuinely confused as he looks down at his arm and sees it all wrapped up and tied down. "No... it doesn't hurt... Oh right, I got hit on the mission." He said with a small laugh, unconcerned by the fact that he had completely forgotten he had hurt his arm.

On the way to Shibusen, around 1 pm.

Having had lunch taken care of, Jade was all ready to head back to the library to conduct more research when the sight of Luke made him stop dead in his tracks- thankfully, where he couldn't see him.

Unfortunately, any relief he might have derived from the advantage of stealth disintegrated when he noticed Luke's dopier-than-usual look. He quickly concluded certain things on that matter, namely that a) Luke was on painkillers, b) Luke shouldn't be walking about outside and c) He couldn't just ignore the possibility of Luke getting into trouble in this state.
...needless to say, another conclusion was to be added to that: d) Jade was not going to enjoy this, but Jade would bite his lip and see this little adventure out to the end.

Thinking as such, Jade walked casually out of where he had been standing before, stopping a few paces away from him. "Luke," he said plainly, waiting to see how would Luke react to him.

Luke had been blissfully unaware of Jade until the man had spoken, then he turned his head after a moment recognition lit up his green eyes, a smile plain on his face. "Jade! HI." He responded,looking happy as could be. The one advantage of the strong painkillers, Luke found himself happy to see everyone.

Oh? Well, two could play at that game. Smiling as pleasantly as he could (Very, considering how he had had one memorable experience with a drugged Dist once), Jade replied.

"Good afternoon, Luke. Isn't it such a nice day to be outside? Why, I don't know of any other activities that one might rather be doing to pass the time! May I know where you're headed to?"

"No where, just wandering." He responds before laughing. "Why are you talking so funny Jade?"
