Characters: OPEN, Shibusen side Location: Shibusen underground barracks Rating: R Time: September 1-15, 2019 Description: Both sides have exchanged news about their respective blast from the past. What does everyone think about it?
When Winry awoke she felt even more battered than she the previous day. So much for rest. Her eyes remained closed, in the vague hopes that she would go back to sleep, or that she’d wake up again to everything that had happened yesterday being a dream but even she couldn’t delude herself of that
( ... )
Miranda followed along quietly behind Miranda. She felt numb; as if this wasn't really happening. Maybe it wast happening. Maybe this was all just a horrible dream and when Miranda woke up everything would be normal and better again.
But she'd hoped that before, when she was reliving the same day over and over again. And no matter how much Miranda had wished it, that hadn't been a dream. And so fear gnawed at her stomach, as Miranda worried about what was going to happen now.
Once inside the room, Miranda wrung her hands and dreaded whatever it was that she and Winry were going to hear.

From the past, huh.
Date Masamune pondered to himself, mulling over those words and the announcement that Death the Kidd had made earlier. From ten years ago... Hard to believe now, really, that ten years had passed - things had changed (and boy how they had changed) and of course Date had to long accept the fact that he would be stuck here for good. BREW had utterly shut down a long time back, and it was clear there was no chance for him to return to Japan (as he learned what Hi-No-Moto would eventually be called) now. Still, he supposed this life wasn't too bad, circumstances aside. There were people here now, who needed him, and if they needed him he'd still damn well be that very leader that they needed.
Still... ten years ago. It was odd, to hear about them now after all this time, but then again things had never been exactly normal for him from the moment he found himself in this place. A decade had already passed, and Date had long gotten used to this future - not that he had any other choice. Life now was mostly kill of be

Taiwan couldn't believe that they were getting a visit from the past. It wasn't exactly peaceful but it was so much better than what they were facing now. Sometimes, she wished she could go back to the past and fix everything that has happened but she had to move forward. Besides, there was some positive aspects. For one, she was able to finally forgive China and call him brother.
After a couple of minutes, she decides to pay her partner a visit. "Hey Date, are you in there?" She said after knowing on his door.
Date blinked open an eye at the voice, recognizing it almost instantly - not that he couldn't, since she was his current partner and all. Ten years and Date had been through many many Weapons (some of them now lost to the Witches, including Spitfire) but Taiwan was undeniably one of the best he had managed to partner with. And she was a pretty good girl, too... aside from the whole being a country thing. Date still couldn't get that half the time.
Well, anyway. The samurai pushed himself up from his bed, scratching the back of his head as he replied. "Yeah, I'm in." He supposed the Weapon wanted to discuss with him about the whole incident as well, not that he could blame her... it had been the talk around this place in recent days (as well as the CWC, apparently, not that he could blame them as well).
As she opened the door, a small smile appeared on her face. "I see that you're up and ready." She didn't want to seem sad in front of him, she had at least try to keep that optimistic attitude.
Taiwan had gone through many Meisters but she happened to like Date the best. Even though they had their many differences, at least he was very willing to work with her and she was did the same. Plus, the sparring came in handy from time to time. "So, did you hear the news that's spreading around?"

Winry had wanted to speak with them before Kid made the formal announcement, which was to happen tomorrow. He had told her where to find Edward, at least, and she knew she could find the others from there but she was scared
( ... )
Winry had just finally mustered up enough courage to reach for the doorknob, when it began to open on its own.
Her entire body froze, and she stood there, hand outstretched with an almost comical expression of shock on her face.
She had told herself repeatedly that Edward would now be ten years older, and thus very different, but no matter what there really was no way you could prepare yourself for seeing the boy you had grown up with, one of those most important people in your lives suddenly altered. In some ways he was beginning to remind her of Hohenheim, yet there was still something in his face that was so very distinctly Edward.
Again she felt that strange bubble of panic build in her. This was just all beyond her comprehension. Seeing Edward seemed to finalize the reality of her situation and she felt a heavy sinking sensation in her chest.
The most that had changed about Kazu was probably his voice. When he was younger, he was all indignant squawking or shy stuttering. There was still plenty of both, but now there was a third tone that reflected the long years he'd been fighting, a tone that sounded tired and wary and in-command all at once. He was using that tone now, trying to keep it measured, not wanting to surprise Naruto by yelling. He knew he himself got jumpy, sometimes--okay, most of the times. But it was pretty chickenshit to admit loud noises made him flinch.
Otherwise, Kazu looked more or less the same, though his hair had maybe gotten a little longer, and somewhere there'd been a clear graduation from skinny teenager to lean adult. he'd clearly been above ground for sometime himself, either fighting or doing some hard running.
Kazu loosened up noticeably after Naruto recognized him, rolling easily over to him, waving on his concern. "Yeah, you know. Just tired."
That was not necessarily true. He was tired, but his uncharacteristic soberness came more from his mood. He tended to get like that after he came from the MW zones and his A-T started loosing speed--not depression, exactly, but more like disappointment, maybe frustration. As much as Shibusen was his home, it rankled him, being boxed in.
His friendship with Naruto had helped, a lot, especially when Kazu thought he was going to go crazy withpowerlessness. It was hard to stay down around someone with a face like Naruto's.

The rumors that had been spreading like fire through Shibusen had finally been confirmed. Winry, Miranda, Kanda and Yuuri were alive. Alive, well and younger then they should be. It had been so hard sitting by and waiting for any news about these rumors, because even though ten years had passed- Ash had still remained impatient about information regarding his friends. Especially any friends that had been considered dead for so long

Ran Fan was making her way down a corridor on her way back from delivering some reports about Kishin Eggs. It was tedious, dangerous, and not really what she wanted but anything that might lead her there was worth it

"I was reporting the movements of some Kishin Eggs," she replied. "There seem to be stirrings above."
