[Trailing cigarette smoke, Gokudera approached one of the bonfires, hugging his hoodie and avoiding clusters of people. He didn't come here to be clingy]

[Saitou had seen a lot of the small events that had been going on around the area but never really partook. It wasn't until he saw the bonfire, he slowly made his way towards it. He was a little chilly and fire could do him good right now.]

[Once he was there, he could smell a foul stench in the air and quickly turned towards the direction of which it came from.]

Gokudera-kun?

Eh? [Gokudera looked up in surprise, which immediately turns to wariness, because who the fuck in that voice he doesn't recognize is calling him by name.

[But then he sees that face and it clicks. And bam, he's scowling at the bastard while exhaling smoke]

Oi! Don't act like you know me.

[Saitou was shocked when Gokudera exhaled the smoke. How was he doing that?

When the smell reached him, he backed up. The smoke was a little to harsh for him. ]

But we do know each other.

[One Seiji Yagiri lies on a pile of hay. Stray strands of straw stick to his clothes and prick his back, but they don't bother him. Arms crossed behind to prop up his head, he looks into the sky. The stars are glittering, but a close look at him will reveal he's not focused on any one of them. More like he's staring for the sake of it, letting his thoughts mull about, accompanied by the soundtrack of fiddles and guitars and blissfully unaware -- ignoring? -- everyone around him.]

[and just going to accidentally bump into the straw of hay, probably dislodging a few more of those strands of straws.]

Ah...Sorry.

[Coughs after some of those straws flutter onto his face. Quickly brushes them off, throwing in a half-hearted] Sure. [Now that's all off his face--]

[Leaps up and points accusingly.] You're not knocking me out again! I won't let it happen this time!

...The hell? We're at a festival. Don't yell.

[Amaterasu meanwhile is crouching low next to the fire, black eyes watching as the flames lick and flick high above. Her white tail wagging contently behind her, ears perked and curving around to listen to the crackles of the fire as well as the voices and chatting around.

She's making sure the fire stays strong with her celestial brush, but she may eventually wander over to the food to stuff her face admire all the various dishes!

..Oh who are you kidding? Of course she's gonna go and stuff her face! What is lady-like?]

[Dino is tickled, seeing this. He laughs earnestly, standing some feet away with Enzio - his snapping turtle, perched on the shoulder of his coat, soaking in the warmth]

[Ears perk at the sound, glancing over to the man and to the turtle. Oh! An animal! Mother of All is happy to see this.

But.. she doesn't quite get what's funny?? She emits a confused sound, blinking.]

Sorry, sorry! [Grin] I didn't mean to interrupt.

[Lightning, not one for festivities, is off to the side leaning against a particularly large stack of hay bales, merely observing. It was nice, even if she wasn't an active participant, and the buzz and excitement around the area was a quiet, comforting reminder of the way Bodhum used to be.

She's open to conversation, she might even move closer to the flames during colder breezes, but she mostly stays perched and solitary.]

[Hey there Light! Tifa sees you being an unsocial wallflower, so she's going to come up to you to talk.]

Lightning, right? We've spoken before. I'm Tifa.

[She acknowledges the familiar face with a nod, and folds her arms tightly to her chest.]

I remember. It's a shame we didn't speak under better circumstances, though.

[She motioned towards the bonfire.] Not one for social gatherings?

[ Zion is eagerly looking around, he's never seen anything like this before! It was cold but he doesn't seem to mind. His black mink on his shoulder is keeping him nice an toasty~ Shion stretches and looks around before nuzzling closer. ]

[Small hands cover Zion's eyes, careful of Shion, Alice tries very hard to stifle her giggle.]

[ Zion blinked at the hands over his eyes, Shion looked over then nuzzled closer. He smiled when he heard Alice's giggle. ]

Alice~? It's not nice to sneak up on people~
