-------------
The week was halfway over, but the festivities were still going strong. There were still plenty of activities to do and still more to come: games face painting, stuffing faces, shopping, rodeos, obstacle courses, dressing up alpacas. But with every festival, there needs some downtime for the festive-goers to take a break and relax.
On both Thursday and Friday, as the sun begins to set, in a specially marked field in the village, the locals set up a large bonfire. There were tables for food and drinks, piles of hay and bales of straw set to the side (away from the fire) for sitting, a small stage for some local folk music, and a small section cleared away for dancing.
With the temperatures getting cooler, the warmth of the fire was even more welcoming.
So gather around, meet new and old faces, catch up on talk and gossip, and just have a good old fashioned time to rest, relax, and enjoy the evening.

[ooc: As mentioned in the notes, this will serve for both Thursday and Friday. Time paradoxing is A-OK, so if you want your thread to be made specifically on one of those days, be sure to mark it clearly, like in the subject line.
Since this is pretty much an open mingling log, there will be no subthreads. So make your own and mingle with each other! All kinds of shenanigans are allowed, but no putting out the bonfire. The locals might not be too happy about that.]
