[One Seiji Yagiri lies on a pile of hay. Stray strands of straw stick to his clothes and prick his back, but they don't bother him. Arms crossed behind to prop up his head, he looks into the sky. The stars are glittering, but a close look at him will reveal he's not focused on any one of them. More like he's staring for the sake of it, letting his thoughts mull about, accompanied by the soundtrack of fiddles and guitars and blissfully unaware -- ignoring? -- everyone around him.]

[and just going to accidentally bump into the straw of hay, probably dislodging a few more of those strands of straws.]

Ah...Sorry.

[i_love_head]

[Coughs after some of those straws flutter onto his face. Quickly brushes them off, throwing in a half-hearted] Sure. [Now that's all off his face--]

YOU!

[Leaps up and points accusingly.] You're not knocking me out again! I won't let it happen this time!

...The hell? We're at a festival. Don't yell.

[His pointer hand swings out to his side.] You were the one trying to attack me! [Assumptions much?]

[hatesviolence]

Aaaaah?? I just bumped into you. I wasn't trying to attack anyone.

[anger. levels. rising.]

[Accusatory scoff.] Just like you didn't purposely get in the way of me catching up to my girlfriend, right?

[complete blank look.]

[yep. guess who forgot all about that...again.]

[Well now who's anger levels are rising?]

My girlfriend! The girl with the hat and red hair that I was trying to catch up to. She ran past you and the Black Biker and you let her get away! [Points squarely at Shizuo.] It's your fault she ended up in Ryuugamine's hands!

...Ah! You're that kid spouting all that stupid love crap.

"Crap"? It's not "crap", it's the truth! We're in love and nothing should be allowed to separate us! Not you, this place, or anything else!

[Fishes into his pocket.] You'd better not try anything ever again or else.

[twitching and clenching his fist. that still sounded like complete BS, but he was conscious of where he was so he tried to keep his temper in check.

Look, I don't care or have time to mess with your love fantasies.

[just going to leave. yes. yes that would be best. before he did something he'd regret.]

They're not fantasies! They're destiny! Just because you don't get it doesn't mean you get to chalk it up as nothing! It's everything to me!

[If this conversation wasn't devolving already, it's definitely going downhill now. Couldn't give a crap about whatever Shizuo did. Just doesn't want him talking crap about his love.]

[and suddenly whirling around and grabbing the front of Seiji's shirt. this is basically a repeat of last time as Shizuo just holds him high in the air.]

So you're sayin' that the only thing you care about is this "destined love" of yours, aaah? Do you even know anything about that girl??

[And just like last time, Seiji's flailing in Shizuo's grasp.] I told you before. I know we love each other! That's all that matters!

[Shoves his hand in his pocket and pulls out a retractable pencil.] I'm not going to let this end like last time! [Clicks it and starts jabbing it at Shizuo.]

[instead of being stabbed, Shizuo just grabs the wrist and hoists him high in the air.

he'll give the kid his stupid conviction. at least he was honest.

but the whole attacking him was kind of getting old and they're at a festival dammit. you do not attack people while attending a festival!]
