Darcy is an outgoing kid, or at least way more outgoing than me (which is not that hard to accomplish). I know she needs and enjoys more frequent interaction with kids her age on a regular basis. I think this was the 6th or 7th round I've been through in my (almost) 10 years at the firm. We let go of two assistants (zero bankers) and I now support two Managing Directors, a VP and an Associate. So much for hoping that I'd someday get my 8am - 4pm hours back. This financial crisis is such a mindfuck. A part of me is not so sure about these bailout attempts. Our spawn is one year old today. Holy crap. Where does time go??? Maybe someday I'll post a couple photos from Singapore/Bangkok. Oh, and for those of you in Southern California, we'll be down there in late September. I have a gazillion miles on American that I want to use before they go out of business :)

One of my goals in life is to make sure Darcy get the same travel bug that Niall and I have. I think we're doing ok so far. She's got Ireland and Canada under her belt, with Singapore to come this summer just before her first birthday.
