Took Gord to vet. He bitched only a little, and not very stridently, and that alone is proof positive that he wasn't well.

I spent way too much money today. IKEA is... well, IKEA. Alli and Jay and I went, and of course I bought things I had no idea I needed until I saw them. Like new cutlery and an orange camo play tent for the cats and a new pillow, which is wonderfully comfortable. Hmm. I'm terrified I'm about to fail. I'm very close to finishing school, and I still don't have a practicum lined up. How close, you ask? I've been lucky. I have my own problems with chronic depression, but my reaction has never been to sink into paranoia, like Mum. I'm also not cursed with her particular brain chemistry, which covers a lot, right there.
