I am a tool, but I have a new kitchen trash can.

I spent way too much money today. IKEA is... well, IKEA. Alli and Jay and I went, and of course I bought things I had no idea I needed until I saw them. Like new cutlery and an orange camo play tent for the cats and a new pillow, which is wonderfully comfortable. Plus, a rug for the living room floor, which is OMFG cold, and this should help.

Wal*Mart also needs to stop having things I want quite so much.

Mr. Ho's on Kingsway, though, was totally worth it. I love their food. Such fresh, flavourful, GLORIOUS Chinese food, you need to go if you're local. The wonton soup is mandatory - they're famous for it, and rightly so. The sweet and sour boneless pork is actually sweet AND SOUR, and not comprised of gristle and fat. The fried rice isn't greasy or chewy; it's perfect.

I've only been a couple of times, as Alli is the one who introduced me to the place and we don't get a lot of opportunity to go, but I've enjoyed everything I've eaten, and I'm picky about my Chinese food.

I've put Gord's new harness on him, as he's been agitating for Outside Time for a couple of weeks now, and I don't like to deny him. Yes, my cat owns me. Arlo likes the new tent, and has spent some time in it already, being secretive and pleased with himself. Gord couldn't care less, but I also got them a crinkle bag, so we'll see how that shakes out in the morning.

Anyway, now I'm watching The Bourne Supremacy, because Jason Bourne makes me happy.

the arlo, wondergord!, celluloid fantasies, sharing my delusions since 1973, go to sleep already, money sh*t, that guy i live with, aw crap money, shiny things!, why do i never learn?, nom nom nom
