Zoro was still not sure what to make of Sanji's explanation. However weird and obscure it sounded, it was probably true. Ghosts hadn't existed in his world since he was five years, but had seen the man disappear in front of his own eyes and Sanji had told him it was the truth. He guessed that the blond was right then, but suddenly his mind got occupied with other thoughts as Sanji's lips locked with his own in a tender kiss.

He closed his eyes slowly and followed the soft movements that was the kiss. His hands found their way around the other's body and pulled him onto his knee, placing him in Zoro's lap. The warm weight was as welcomed as Sanji's arms encircling his neck in what resembled a hug as their lips continued moving.

“Zoro...”, Sanji mumbled, breaking the kiss. “'s not... I don't really...”

Grinning ever so slightly, Zoro shook his head and rested his forehead against Sanji. He took a deep breath, inhaling his smell. He just wanted to close his eyes and sleep right there, right now with Sanji in his arms. Several mysteries surrounded the man: not only the ghost story thing, but also the fact that Zoro fell for him this fast. Because he had fallen so bad.

“You want me to leave?”, he asked, brushing away a stray strand of hair.

“No, not just...” Sanji's arms around Zoro's neck clenched and he leaned forward. With his face buried in Zoro's neck, he mumbled '...just stay'.

Zoro was happy to comply. He waited a moment longer before he did anything but sit there on the couch, smiling. It wasn't his usual teasing grin, but a relaxed smile that covered his whole face. His hands stroke up and down Sanji's back before it came to rest on his neck as a support.

Suddenly, the grin was back in its usual place when Zoro stood up and scooped up Sanji from his lap into his arms, bridal style. Sanji was flailing, trying to get the world back in place, but Zoro only stated that he might drop him if he continued cringe like that. Before the green haired man begun to stomp away, he placed a small kiss on top of Sanji's head, but the endearing action was soon lost as Sanji started laughing.

“The bedroom's the other way, moss head! This is the way you came in!”

“I knew that!”, Zoro growled, but Sanji continued smiling when he turned around on his heel in an attempt to find the promised bedroom.

Eventually, he did find it, and placed Sanji on the bed before he removed the torn shit he had worn to the costume party. The blue eyes followed him as he draped it over a chair, but he glared back.

“Come on, you know how to undress right? Or are you one of those idiots who sleep fully clothed?”, Zoro asked before he started working on his belt buckle. Sanji quickly turned his gaze away and started unbuttoning his shirt, the vampire cloak disposed of when they came back to the apartment. Milky white skin came into view and Zoro smiled smugly before he took of his worn jeans and crawled in under the covers.

Sanji's bed was built for a single person, but there was no way he was spending the night on the couch when he had an opportunity to be closer to the other man. Which was pretty weird. Zoro didn't know what had started these emotions. All he knew was that they were very much there, but that was enough for him right now. That and the feeling of warm skin joining him in the small bed.

“You know, I actually thought that you wanted me to leave before. You looked so... sad..?”

Sanji had his back turned against Zoro and it fit perfectly against his stomach, but it lead to the fact that Zoro couldn't see Sanji's eyes of face.

“Nah, not really sad, just unused to... you know, having someone over for the night. Sleeping this close to someone, hearing and feeling their heart against your skin. I haven't done any of this since, well, since Gin.”

Zoro smiled against the blond hair, releasing a content sigh. “Would it be okay if I helped you get used to it again?”

A soft chuckle was heard and just as Zoro was considering leaning up on his elbow, he could feel the blond nod. A thin hand found his and draped it over the thinner body, pulling them both closer to each other.

“Yes, Zoro, I'll go out with you.”
