The water had started to get chilly, but the more strokes he cut through the salt water with, the warmer he got. Taking a deep breath before diving, he forced his eyes open even if it stung a little as he searched for that chest. If only he had ran into more a helpful ghost who didn't request him to almost drown himself before it talked.
Reaching the sandy sea floor, he looked around while he fought to stay down as long as his lungs could survive with the oxygen he had in them. Something looking remotely like a box made out of wood peeked up through the sand, the Goddess of fortune smiling upon the blonde teen as he gently eased it free of its prison of dirt and seaweed before clutching it even the more gently to his chest. His lungs now screamed for oxygen, so he quickly started to rise up to the surface.
As he broke the surface tension, he could hear the ghost-pirate shouting at him from the beach while jumping up and down.
"Did you find it? Did you find it flashily?!"
Groaning, Sanji starts to swim back to the beach while holding the old and all but rotten chest with one arm and swimming with the other. Didn't matter how many times the wish didn't become reality, he really wished he could kick the asses of some of those shitty spirits. And treat some of the lovely ladies to dinners, of course!
As he reached the shore, the clown-pirate was jumping up and mere centimeters from the water, as close as he could get to the sea. For some reason unknown to the teen, this man seemed unable to get into the water, he couldn't even touch it.
"You flashily got it!" His hands separated from his arms, floating some more centimeters closer to the treasure he had wanted Sanji to get in exchange for information about 'the Harmony'.
"Yeah, I shitty got it. So tell me what you know."
"You flashy bastard, give the chest and I'll tell you! I gave you my word!"
"Well, I don't flashily trust the words of a pirate, especially not someone who seems to have been killed by being chopped to pieces. So if you want it, you tell me about that ghost girl first. Otherwise I'll just swim out and drop it even farther from the shore."
"Nooo! Don't do that, I'll tell you right now! She's the ghost of his dead childhood friend, she keeps following him 'cause she wants to flashily see his progress in that modern dance-shit, I don't know what it's called. 'Break a leg' something like that." The information is not really shocking, he had almost started to suspect that it was her, but he wanted to be sure.
"Tell me her name."
"What? You expect me to re- No, no, don't drop it! Please don't drop it! I think it's Kuina, but I'm not sure! She wants to see the guy happy too! But please, that's all I know!" The pleading of the dead pirate seems honest enough, so the blonde turned around again and handed over the rotting chest to the transparent, floating hands. The actual wood falls down to the ground below as he dropped it, but now, in the ghost's hands there are a brand new and transparent treasure chest.
"Here you go then, you shitty pirate. Now buzz off." With that, the the clown-pirate started to fade away, a huge grin on his face as he opened the chest. Mere seconds alter, Sanji is all alone on the beach, not even a dead soul there. He sighed and rubbed the back of his head, before heading up to where he had left his clothes and were a towel awaited him. When he reached and picked the fabric up, the water on his body were chilling him down so much that his teeth clattered against each other. But some coldness was a small price to pay for the confirmation about Zoro's ghost friend.
While he dried his hair, he went over the fact he had collected. It really was Kuina who followed the marimo. When you thought about it, it wasn't surprising at all that she had used the medium's body to get a chance to dance once again, as she had been the number one, a true lover of breaking.
"Dart brow?" The sound of a now familiar voice calling to him made him turn around, watching as the very guy and ghost he had been thinking about coming walking against him. Zoro were stuffing his cell into his pocket as a small blush started to bloom on his cheekbones. The change didn't go unnoticed by the blonde, even if he took a moment to check out the girl. She was young, still at the same as when she had died, wearing a white summer dress to match the beach. Come to think of it, all her clothes were white, in contrast to that clown ghost, meaning she was pure.
"Yo, marimo. Here for a swim?"
"No, I'm not as stupid as you to walk around half-naked and we...t" The blush intensified, now very prominent as the green haired teen finished the word. Beside him, Kuina rolled her eyes and shrugged, apparently used to him. Sanji on the other hand, really liked the reaction. Knowing he looked good, he placed right hand on his hip and threw the towel over his left shoulder, striking a pose.
"Tch, I never get sick. But you seem like you have a fever. Strange, though, I didn't think idiots could get sick." That made the marimo's temper flare up, even if the blush stayed as he walked up closer to the other. Then, the blonde could feel the warmth of the other radiating against him, heat which could make his own body loose its coldness. The aggressive look in Zoro's eyes were oh so tempting to submit to, to tease even more.
"I dare you to say that again, fucking blondie."
"If I do, can I dare you too?"
"Wh- Uh, guess so?" A smirk crept upon Sanji's lips, he had thrown the other totally of guard now as he leaned even closer and blew his warm breath over Zoro's lips.
"Then, I didn't think idiots could get sick. And I dare you to come to the masquerade next week as a werewolf. My vampire needs a servant." At that, he could hear Kuina laugh and see the green haired teen's eyes widen. Hopefully this road wouldn't lead to disaster as the last time.
