He was going to kill Shanks. He had been so close to finally actually taste Sanji, finally place kisses down that pale neck and finally feel the other man's lips against his own. He could feel his skin boiling, and he was pretty sure that a wild blush was covering his face, but he could write that off as anger.

The one armed man had placed the microphone in its stand on a table, but he was still laughing, surrounded by several other guests, the the group quickly split up when they saw Zoro approaching. Left alone was Shanks who had just noticed that he had a furious teen werewolf ready for a massacre behind his back.

“Zoro!”, he laughed. “Congratulations on the win! You two look great!” He slammed his hand against Zoro's back and almost made him loose his breath.

“Maybe it would have been even better if you had let me finish before you decided to shove a spotlight up my ass.”, Zoro growled, still pissed that the blond no longer was trapped between his arms and ready being kissed senseless.

“Finish what?”, Shanks asked, and suddenly he wore an expression Zoro saw way too often on Ace's face. Some day, that curiosity would kill him if Zoro didn't do the job today. “Finish whaaat, Zoro?”, the older man kept on nagging.

The green haired teen didn't answer, but it seemed like his silence was enough for Shanks. He threw patted Zoro on his back again, more friendly this time. When his laughter had slowed down, a smile was still on his lips.

“You really...? Oh Zoro... I didn't know you had it in you! I mean, you can't blame me for not jumping to conclusions when it comes to you and relationships?” Shanks shrugged and grabbed two beers from the table where he had left his microphone and gave one of them to Zoro. “So you two are together? Makes sense with the way you acted. Well then, congratulations on that to.”

Zoro opened his beer slowly. “We're not together.”

“Uhu, keep telling yourself that.”

“Maybe we would have been if not some idiotic man had interrupted us with his silly ass costume contest?”, Zoro stated with a low growl, but Shanks only looked up at him from under his raised eyebrows.

“And you left that situation to tell me to shove it? Where are your priorities man? Where is he now?” Shanks looked over Zoro's shoulder, but couldn't see the blond.

“Seems like he's gone. My advice to you...”, the man continued and emptied his own beer before he took Zoro's can out of his hand and started that one. “is that you go after him.”

Groaning, Zoro hurried away from Shanks. That man was such a pain in the sometimes, but he could see why Luffy liked him so much. They did resemble each other.

“Now where did he go?”, he muttered under his breath as he looked around the room, searching for a now familiar face that was nowhere to be seen. He cursed in a low voice when he walked up the stairs again. He turned around a corner and found himself in a long alley with more turns and corners. It only took another minute before he was lost in the big mansion.

The curses and foul words were louder now as Zoro opened door after door but after a while, he ended up in the same room as he had been five minutes ago. Where the hell was Sanji? He was starting to become desperate when suddenly a door opened on the other side of the room, all by itself. He looked at it curiously before he stepped across the floor and looked out.

The door lead to a balcony, illuminated by the moon that had risen over the sky line, and Zoro carefully stepped out. There were no one out there, even if he silently wished that Sanji would have been there. Then a well-known scent caught his nose and he walked closer to the edge and looked down.

A smirk played on his lips. Right beneath him he could see the blond head and the high, black collar in the middle of a cloud of smoke. Found you...

He guessed that he would get lost again if he tried to walk through the house, and he didn't want to waste anymore time so he looked to his left and found the drain pipe he was looking for. Snickering, he grabbed it with both hands and begun his climb downwards. The look on Sanji's face was almost as priceless as the expression he had made earlier that evening in the Great Hall.

Talking about that... Maybe it was time to finish the business they had started earlier.

“Marimo? What the heck are you doing?”

Zoro didn't answer his question but grabbed the blond's thin shoulders and finally pulled him in for that first kiss.
