I just want (school)life to slow down a little. And it's only Monday.
Why school be like this past weekend?

I've only posted 4 times in the past two years...whoa. It's interesting to read the random snapshots of my life from the times I did decide to record something. The reason I know college isn't real life is that I can go from days where I have 11 hours of class with a one hour break for lunch, to these days, where I can sit and read for hours and no once cares.
Reading is so great because you can sit and do something enjoyable, and learn at the same time. I learned so much from The Omnivore's Dilemma. ( Read more... )

So I have this internship at NIST this summer, and while I generally enjoy it, I'm realizing that my future needs to involve food. In the down time between loading samples, I sit at my computer and look at food blogs. I could do it all day. Seriously.
