Tried sleeping in the hammock for a bit but the dumb dogs kept alerting to every little noise. Neighbors in the next building over were having game night or something in their yard. They gave the promotion to some asshole who was hired November 2016. I met him when he was hired but he's so boring and pathetic that I never bothered getting to know him. So of course yesterday went off the rails. I applied for a promotion a few weeks ago. My application was immediately rejected. I found out yesterday that one of the secretaries applied for the same job and got an interview. Admin picked someone else for the job. We might find out Who next week. I decided a while ago that I should travel more. The recent mini vacation confirmed that. I used to go on weekend trips all the time and I just stopped for no good reason. The manager of my favorite bar gave me 2 passes to an event at the Cocktail Week venue. Bartenders from all over the country are showing off their skillz. It's a big deal.
