I think Chrome may have lasted a tiny bit longer than Firefox before it finally started to freeze everything up. I just remembered another odd quirk Lucid seemed to have: the cursor not moving after waking from Sleep.

Well, the freezing issue has come back today.

I was using Firefox to browse for some info related to gedit (default text editor) and possibly installing AMP (Apache, MySQL, PHP) on my system. Everything was working fine for a while. I've thankfully not had as many problems with Lucid Lynx as I had with Pangolin. Like I said before, I don't know if I installed Pangolin improperly, if my hardware just wasn't up to the challenge of supporting Unity and the other stuff in this version, or what. I must admit, I'm really glad I migrated everything important from this hard drive the first time around. When I did a sweep of the drive using the Precise Pangolin Live CD, I didn't find much worth keeping.
