Huh. Something's different...

Once again, I've let this thing lag and I cannot bring myself to feel sorry about it, because I'm sure no one cares. Unless there's someone out there just hanging on every single word I'm typing, in which case: can't you find something better to watch?

BUT, YOU KNOW, WHATEVER FLOATS YOUR BOAT.

Anyway, whilst lurking anonymously through LJ, I've noticed something. I've been seeing a lot of complaints about the new way the editor is set up. I've been hearing that certain features wouldn't show up, or that the formatting would be all wonky, or all sorts of irritating crap. Kinda like what happens when your browser decides it doesn't like Java and makes stuff look all funny and poorly constructed. Or at least, that's what happens when one of my browsers decides it doesn't like Java.

Well, I finally logged back in just to see what all the fuss was about. I suppose LJ's gotten (most of) the kinks worked out by now, because I don't seem to be having any problems. In fact, I'm digging the way it's set up now; it's nice being able to use some of the same shortcuts in here that I use for other text editors (like command+b/i/u to change the typeset...or whatever it's called when it's in bold or italics). But, yeah, it looks fine to me now.

Maybe next time, I'll have something more interesting to say other than a "technical" report of LJ's stuff that almost sounds like butt-kissing.

two-cents, lj
