Well....guess I'm not going to be a daddy. Jess had a miscarriage the other night. It's disheartening, but I perhaps it just wasn't ment to be. It was going to be rough financially, socially, and living together wise, not to mention due date being during her student teaching. But I was still looking forward to a little Shortmann/Jess.

The end is nigh my friends. For Jess and I have produced offspring, and I fear for the future of all mankind that I have been given the ability to mate. Okay, all seriousness aside, as Jess mentioned, we are going to have a baby!

The little Spawn of Satan Alien Shit boy/girl will be due right around November 17th or 18th...right during the end ( Read more... )

Yesterday was dad's memorial and I don't think I've ever cried so much in my life. There were so many people there, and a lot of them that I had never met. However, there were just as many people that knew exactly who I was, but I couldn't remember them. When the Mason's came to do their memorial and pay their respects, I was in awe.
