Class cancelled on account of........
I know I haven't posted here in awhile, and don't really pay attention to my LJ anymore, but this had to be posted because it is such a WTF? moment.
Let me premise this by stating that I'm taking Broadcast Law in Moore right now. At the same time, construction is going on at The Music Building, and they are replacing all the windows in Moore, so lots of noise and construction is happening.
In the middle of lecture, our Prof is talking about Libel and Slander when all of a sudden, we hear a very loud crash. Instinctively we all jump up and back up, Jeff (the prof) flies over the desk and joins us. We look over, and see that the window had been shattered. First thought that came to my head was that the construction workers broke our window or something. But no...it couldn't be something normal like that.
I look over to the door and see, of all things....a deer. A fucking deer jumped through our window in the middle of class. A fucking deer jumped through our window in the middle of class, in the middle of CMU's campus. W.T.F. In all the chaos, one student lept out the window (that the deer broke), and we were all panicking because it was blocking the door. It moved away, and Jeff opened the door and it ran out in the hall. By time we made it to the hall, the deer was out of gone.
But still...of all things to happen in the middle of class on a boring Thursday morning, in the middle of nowhere Mt. Pleasant, on CMU's campus. A fucking deer flies through our window.
