I've been back in Canada for a couple weeks now, and have been tardy with posting pictures and updates about my trip! I had a fantastic time in Europe! When did I become such a heavy packer?? Well, I guess it's not too bad. Mostly bulky sweaters, but I'm surprised I filled my suitcase. I've always taken pride in being a light packer. I just hope they have a hair dryer at the hostel... With short hair, it's much more of a necessity. -_-

I seriously fret over the silliest things sometimes! It's strange. Perhaps it's just my mood at the time or something. I can have a disagreement or annoyance with someone without losing sleep, but then something that's probably not a big deal will bother the heck out of me ( Read more... ) -

Debut!
I'm going to be on the radio tomorrow (well, today, technically - Tuesday)! My friend Nancy has a new radio show on CSJR called The Laughing Face, and every week, she has a new theme and guest co-host. This week's theme is "home", and she asked if I had any song suggestions. Poor kitty
I've had an ongoing battle with Phoebe peeing on the carpet for years, but it was usually on and off, and in one spot. About a month ago, she suddenly started peeing all over the place, at times as frequent as every couple minutes. Took her to the emergency vet, and after six hours, we were given some antibiotics and news we already knew. Grr. ( Read more... ) -

Yay weekend! The temp job is going good so far. I mean, the work is boring, the pay is crap, my office is cold, and it takes an hour to get there, but I'm already enjoying it way more than my last job (and I'm only there for another week, so it beats staying at home). Work & Play
Last Friday, Clem and I visited my aunt and uncle (wenchlette's stepmom and dad). While there, they pulled out an old box that came from my great-grandfather's movie theatre in Newfoundland. There were so many old movie posters from the 1950s! Oh my lord! They were AWESOME! The sexism was especially amusing, lol. I love how they were all hand-painted back ( Read more... )
