Still Alive!
Wow oh WOW this journal is old as dirt! I am 35 now, have been married and divorced, and have two little sons now: Maximus, age 5 ( born November 29, 2015 ), and Alexander, age 4 ( born June 11, 2017 ). Finding and reading this again was a trip back into the past, I tell you. Ah, nostalgia.

Would I travel to another city or state to see them? Depends on how far away from me they are and how much money I have. On my current low-income budget I would travel no further than 200 miles.

Remember that big flood I wrote about in this journal about a year ago? This flood is shaping up to be even worse than that one. : ( Again, the two-mile or so radius around my home has become an island, a rare refuge safe from floodwaters but cut off from the rest of civilization.
