Well, this has been in many ways a tough week. I am having issues at work and that's causing me a lot of stress. And tomorrow is the first anniversary of my mom's death, and the build-up to that has just been crazy stressful as well. Sorry I've been absent. Finally went to the doctor about the Cold That Never Dies. Turns out I have some chest congestion, bronchitis, and a staph infection. Yuck. I just got through responding to all the comments left on my journal, and friending those people who've friended me in the last two months. My vacation is officially over... (also, mission101)
I go back in to work tonight at 11pm, so I'm officially no longer on vacation. One week just isn't long enough! - I'm finally chatting with ayesakara. YAY YAY!
- Venting is good.
- Had a very nice weekend. Spent Friday with my niece Krystle (dinner, then relaxing and chatting on the sofa.) On Saturday we had planned to volunteer in the morning, then take a taxi to the cemetery and back, then a bus to her house. We did the volunteering, but then my sister and brother-in ( Read more... )

Updates and Week Fifteen of mission101
My last few weeks in a nutshell
- Got hair dyed/streaked. Looked like a two dollar hooker. Cried.
- Lived with whoredom for three days. Cried more.
- Got hair dyed back to brown. Looks fabulous.
- Found out that we can't plant flowers at cemetery until monument engraving is done. Will take 4 to 6 weeks. Really really really pissed off.

A Real Life Update
Some of you know that my mother is in a nursing home. Over the last 6 months or so she's been steadily declining both physically and mentally. She now has dementia, which has manifested itself as paranoia, delusions, and hallucinations.
