you know that windows screensaver that makes a 3d image of whatever words you type into it, then just spins and rotates that image when it kicks in? well, I have had the message "No" running on mine foe a few weeks. The other day, I changed it to say "YES!"

I think it is having some sort of effect.

Today I busted my ass to get all the small jobs done that I had to do before I could start on this epic job for a particularly annoying client.

One downside I overlooked on the backup comp purchase was that it is only expandable to 1.5g RAM.
It came with two wimpy 256m sticks. There are 3 sluts, so I ordered a 512m for each one of those whores. That brings my total dolleros invested to $190. The place I got the RAM from had free shipping for orders over fiddy so I scored on that.

Having a second computer is already sort of interesting. First of all, I was able to turn my laptop OFF which I'm kind of stoked about...on the weekends it usually runs for three days straight. There is always a lingering fear that I am just going to end up wearing the thing out.
