One of my vices is first-person shooter (FPS) video games, which tend be pretty violent. I have one called 'Postal'* in which the object of the game is pretty much "blow away anything that moves". And yet, in all the years, I appear to have missed a perfect game with epic levels of potential carnage: Roller Coaster Tycoon.

As someone with a ridiculously large DVD collection, I am constantly forced to watch that damned "You wouldn't steal a car, would you?" anti-piracy ad. Not only is the ad annoying in its delivery, its argument is specious. Most annoying to me, however, is the fact that it is appearing on a DVD for which I have paid.

The World's Oldest Person, Emma Faust Tilman, died at age 114 on Sunday the 28th. She became the World's Oldest Person when the then-World's Oldest Person, Emiliano Mercado del Toro, died at age 115 last Wednesday, the 24th.

Man, it's like that title is under a curse, or something.
