Last night I watched a bit of the Bob & Doug McKenzie Two-Four Anniversary Special, which was only so-so, I'm sorry to say. The most amusing bit for me was that the show was hosted and opened by our former Prime Minister, Paul Martin

I love it when political figures can do comedy. Al Gore's stints on Saturday Night Live are some of my favorite bits of comedy.

Man, that was hilarious when he did his speech as president from an alternate reality. Whenever somebody doesn't take themselves seriously, they go up in my esteem. and especially when it's a politician who doesn't feel the need to say "just kidding!" (or the equivalent) at the end in a fit of voter cowardice.
