For my mom's birthday yesterday, my dad restored her old bike.  She got it new when she was a kid.  It's a heavy old thing, with just the one speed, but it's a great shade of blue and very sturdy.  She's thrilled he did that for her.

So I am officially AD/HD.  I went and talked to a psychiatrist, who asked lots of questions (many aimed at making sure I wasn't suffering from something else, which is as important as identifying symptoms), and after conferring with the head of the department, she gave me a prescription and signed me up for some follow-up evaluations ( Read more... )
