We went to the Jacaranda Festival on Friday evening for a couple of hours. The breeze was quite cold, and Patrick developed a bit of a cough. On Friday night he was very unsettled and we had a lot of trouble getting him to sleep. I just called Michael. His trip hasn't been extended, so he'll get back into Brisbane around 9am on Monday morning. Unfortunately, I'll have to work that day, so he'll just come as far as Toowong on the train to drop off his luggage, then head into work for the day and meet me that afternoon. Michael headed off for London via Singapore this afternoon on another work trip, and only 4 days notice. He'll only be gone a week, hopefully. It feels wrong to be spending Sunday evening by myself.

I'm not as upset as I was last time. No pregnancy hormones to make me weepy.

It *did* work. The reimage worked fine. I yanked out the SATA cable on the original drive and imaged the new partition too. It was a different brand of HDD and that made Windows XP barf, but the data *is* there - it's mountable, it just can't get past the Windows XP splash screen. And this is definitely one of those days. I spent a full week installing a MASSIVE amount of software onto a computer. I downloaded an ISO that seemed to get good reviews as a disk cloning solution.
