Parenting Win!
Today I got creative with my slow cooker. In my fridge I found: mushroom, onion, half a capsicum, a quarter of a cauliflower, carrots, crushed garlic and olives. In the pantry was salt, pepper, dried oregano and thyme and a jar of pasta sauce. In my freezer was pork scotch fillet. So, Italian-style pork casserole it was. It's all happening in the next few weeks. This Friday we inspect the house, and NEXT Friday we should be taking possession! FINALLY!
Only 2 weeks after that the bub is due to arrive. That week also starts with our wedding anniversary, and ends with Easter.

We've ordered our flooring for the new house today.
We're looking at keeping the current house as an investment property, which means that we won't have any proceeds from the sale to finish off the new house with. We'll only sell this house if we can get about $300,000 for it, because it was worth that a year ago and should be again as the market ( Read more... ) -
50 days to go - I hope!
The baby is due 50 days from today. The house is due in 49 days. I'm hoping the baby comes right on the due date - too early and we won't have the house. Too late, and I think I'll explode! -
Aidan's 4-year-old Checkup
Aidan is a healthy little boy, and a brave one too. The surgery where I take the kids has a nurse to help with vaccinations. So I held Aidan firmly, and they simultaneously gave him a needle in each leg. He barely flinched, and certainly didn't cry. I was very proud of him.
