Vinyl flooring is great. My boss reckons its the best thing you can have on a floor. Vinyl is not cold or slippery when wet, it does not chip or crack, it handles spills of anything and it can take a real beating before it wears out. Since it doesn't need to be glued down it's quick and easy to replace when it does wear out.
Apparently you can get 3 kinds of underlay, thin (firm), medium and thick (soft but more susceptible to damage by pointy things landing on it).
I like that one of the patterns is called Yoda Black ;)
