I finished reading Mirror by Graham Masterton tonight, and as with the other two of his books that I've already read, it was great.  It's a horror story about a Hollywood writer who buys a mirror that once belonged to a murdered 1930s child star called Boofuls, whose story he's pretty much obsessed with.

I have now read The Devil's Staircase by Helen Fitzgerald. First off I just have to say wow. This book was brilliant. When I booked it out of my local library the girl behind the counter said that it was brilliant, and I have come to the conclusion that she has excellent taste.
