So I have been assigned by my family to make a Michael Jackson tribute mix. I've been looking around, trying to find different versions of his songs - i.e. different artists singing them or different arrangements. * I think my favorite track on Malcolm Gets' new solo album is his cover of "Wait" from Sweeney Todd. That's not my favorite musical, though I do think that "Not While I'm Around" is one of the most beautiful songs ever written for the stage. However, I love this cover. I'm supposed to be working on this thing where I have to check to make sure one set of info matches up with another set of info, and it's SO not the work you want to do on late Friday afternoon.

My impending trip to New York is looking better and better. My sister reserved us a hotel downtown a few blocks from the theater, at a reasonable price. So, we're not paying a truckload of money, but we will also not be staying in the ghetto. There's been some press on the show, including this interview, which makes me happy.
